Everything was wonderful for our overnight stay! The rental was immaculately clean and well stocked. The beds were so comfortable and the grounds were perfect for walking around with our two dogs. Ryan was a great host! We would highly recommend his rental and hope to stay there again in the future :-)

The views are beyond gorgeous! Owner is very friendly and easy to communicate with. It needs a comfortable place to sit in the living room. We would love to come back.

My stay here was amazing! It was exactly as described in the listing and more. Ryan and his fur baby hosts could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The house has everything you need--the kitchen is beyond well-equipped and has all needed to prepare whatever food you bring with you. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I stayed for two nights with a girlfriend and we never left the property; there was plenty of space inside and out for us to enjoy time together or 'together or alone' solitude. We cannot wait to go back either together again or with our own families. I've been to SLO many times and it's one of this LA girl's favorite places to relax and recharge, but now I have a new favorite spot to add to my list. :))))

Comfortable beds, clean, large single bathroom with two sinks and a separate toilet area. View was beautiful and the property was very special. The drive up the hill does take some focus and is best tackled during daylight hours if you are not familiar with the road. We enjoyed hearing the Rooster and the Cattle in the distance.

Incredible view expanse from comfortable property with deck. Pet friendly, functional kitchen, chickens with fresh eggs and tortoise who likes to be scratched. Host Ryan and dogs Bourbon and Cider friendly and welcoming. Access to local beaches and restaurants easy. We will come again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista House! Bourbon, Cider & Ryan were the most gracious hosts and the property was so beautiful! Everything you could think of was provided, and the home was impeccably clean and cared for. We so enjoyed spending time on the deck enjoying the view. Our two dogs loved it, too. We will definitely be back!

What a relaxing visit my family enjoyed! Our stay was brief, but Vista House checked all the boxes for a getaway in San Luis Obispo. We enjoyed the calm and quiet vibe high above the city, which is about a 20-minute drive into Downtown. We were glad it was daytime when we took the first drive up the road to the property, but it was no big deal conquering it at night after that. Overcast skies? Cool, moody view. Clear skies? Cool, California view. Never a disappointment!Ryan made check-in really easy and we were so excited to meet Bourbon, Cider and Walter the (HUGE) tortoise! We really felt comfortable on the property, which isn't always the case when it's shared (in different units) with the owner. Privacy was never an issue. And this was absolutely the easiest check-out ever - sometimes staying in a rental can make you feel like you work for the owner after you complete the check-out process, but this was anything but.Check it out for a chill experience. And thank you, Ryan and animal friends, for a great visit!

Vista House delivered a fantastic view. Our host, Ryan (along with Cider and Bourban) was very welcoming and gave us a quick introduction to the place when we arrived. But even before we arrived, he sent email that was informative and fun: excellent directions and a thoughtful and cheerful tone. In person, the vibe was warm and his presence was reassuring. Sure enough, later when we had some difficulty with one of the TVs, he came right over and corrected the problem. Throughout the visit and even as we said our farewell, he was fun and kind. He was an important contributor to making our holiday fun and memorable.Also, the house and its furnishings were wonderful. Really good labels, especially in the kitchen. That kitchen was especially nice and full of useful equipment. Beautiful decor and so many nice touches. Wow!

The host was very welcoming, we had a great stay! Views were amazing, the spacious private deck was a great relaxing space. The house was spacious and had many amenities. However, the interior seating could be much more comfortable and conducive to watching movies, etc..
