Beautiful ocean retreat

Located 3 blocks from the waterfront in the heart of downtown Morro Bay. Walking
distance to the quaint little boutiques and restaurants and embarcadero, shopping, beaches and Morro Rock. Beautifully
decorated 1600 sq. foot town home. 3 bedroom 2 bath. Newly renovated. This home is 2 story with the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom upstairs, so you have a beautiful view of the ocean and Morro Rock. You will not be disappointed.

**All holidays require a minimum 3 night stay, exception is the 4th of July requires a minimum 7 night stay, unless 7 nights are not available. Reservations will be canceled if not the minimum stay.

Such an ideal location. Close to everything and with views of the bay. This was just right for our family, including a child 1 years old. Parking sounded like it was going to be difficult per the description (don’t park on street, don’t block the driveway) but theres a dedicated drive path in front of the garage that accomodated our large SUV (VW Atlas).

What a wonderful property! Great proximity to downtown and Embarcadero (walking distance). Host was very responsive to messages/questions.The beds are very comfortable and bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen is well appointed with all you need.Had a lovely time and we will definitely book again.

We enjoyed our third stay at this property. The location and the view make it our favorite, easy walk to restaurants and the harbor. Well-equipped, too.

Great stay!

The property was great - ample kitchen utensils, very spacious, loved the kitchen seating with the gorgeous view of Morro rock. The location was right next to coffee shops, restaurants, and the Embarcadero. It's a 1.5 miles to Morro Rock, but the sea otter viewing is closer. We had two 3.5 year olds with us and they also enjoyed the house!

Great location. The property was great for group travel and I recommend it. Please be aware if you are only staying less than a week, you will not have access to the washer dryer (it is in the fine print) and we were only supplied 6 towels for 3 days and 6 people. The kitchen needs some attention with paired down cooking supplies. There is a lobster pot, but no kettle. The barbecue that is advertised was not in usable condition and there is a hand written sign telling guests that propane is not supplied.

Great location!

Very lovely and comfortable property in a perfect location. Walking distance to the Embarcadero, Front street and the T pier and all of the shops and restaurants located there. Great view of Moro rock and a very short drive to Moro rock and Moro beach. There is a very nice coffee shop three doors down. We only stayed two nights so we didn't use the kitchen very much, but it seemed well stocked. Lastly, the owner was very kind and responsive. We would stay here again!

Stayed for Cal Poly graduation. Beautiful home with great upstairs gathering area and balcony to watch the sunset. Everyone had a great stay. Very walkable to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and Relaxing Family Escape

This place was perfect for a last minute family getaway before our kids started school. Location was perfect for our morning walks down the Embarcadero to the Rock. Beautiful views for sunset. House was comfortable and well stocked.

The house was perfect for the 3 of us. We each had our own spacious rooms. The house was clean and roomy and comfortable. It was just a short walk to the beach and town. Great location.

Beautiful Home in Morro Bay

We stayed for three nights and wish it had been at least one more. The home is lovely with views of the rock from the living/dining area and only three short blocks from the bay. We did whale watching, watched otters and sea lions in the bay, and drove 30 minutes up the coast to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal rookery. Would definitely visit again!

Graduation weekend

Our son was graduating CalPoly SLO this weekend. We were unable to find any accommodations in SLO and were hesitant to be far from campus. It turned out to be an outstanding choice to be in Morro Bay. Fewer crowds and no traffic. Plus our place had a nice view of Morro Rock and Bay.

Very nice and comfortable

This location was immediately very homey and comfortable. I never went looking for anything (except the coffee pot, and the owner was very communicative and helped find it). The location was close enough to the embarcadero of Morro Bay to be an easy relatively quick walk but I actually had a nice time walking to some of the more inland restaurants that were friendly and good as well. I would definitely book again.

Lovely home, responsive host

This is a lovely home. Only hiccup was the house wasn't cleaned from previous guests upon our arrival at check in time. We were really all hoping to have a rest so it was a disappointment, but Host got the cleaning crew over quickly, and 3 hours later we were in, and the house was in great condition and very comfortable. Host also gave us a small refund for our inconvenience, and was very responsive via text to the couple of other questions we had along the way. The test of a good host isn't that things go wrong, it's the response when they do. Lots to love about this home; we esp enjoyed the location, the upstairs tub, and the comfortable beds. Check out the Buttercup Bakery just down a couple blocks. Yummy treats and granola!

Location was good. Good view of the water (when the sky was clear) and Morro Rock. Walking to shops, restaurants and waterfront was a daily activity for half of us. Stairway to upper floor was not for mobility impaired (as identified in other reviews). Listing said hot tub, but we never saw one...just a whirlpool bathtub. Laundry on site, but only available if you are staying a week or more. We are game players, so we had to do a little ceative furniture rearrangement for the for of us. Communications was execllent, but most could have been handled with a 'how to ' book.

Great location, and a nice house. I would have given 5 stars all around if there had been an adequate supply of essentials. TP, ,towels, and why is there a BBQ if there is no propane? Small inexpensive details that would have made a difference. Over all we had a great time, and would recommend this house.
