Very nice and clean home and amazing view of the ocean! only thing was maybe a bigger tv in the living room area and bigger fans for the rooms but other than that beautiful home and very convenient thank you again for allowing us to stay! Definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed the large deck with a view. It was a nice neighborhood. Close to the water but away from main part of town. The dining area was large and there was plenty of space for our friends to enjoy a dinner together. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, large serving bowls.

We greatly enjoyed the privacy and quiet at this house. The back deck is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view. The management company was quick to respond to my text about wifi issues even though I texted after normal office hours. The issue was that the router is located in the basement and the signal wasn’t getting to the rest of the house. The management company says a router extender has been ordered. Future renters who need a wifi signal are advised to check on this if access is needed. We found the house well equipped and absolutely spotless. The decor is over the top eclectic.

Early winter getaway

Great house, great area, great for kids. House had everything we needed to cook at home and make all our time in the home enjoyable. I would highly recommend and look forward to going back!Area is fantastic and is all of the positives of California without any of the big city problems.

The pictures give an accurate description. Love the mid-century flare. The home is comfy and has most everything you'll need during your stay. The kids loved it.

Eclectic type furnishings leading to many conversations outside on balcony, watching the ocean until late after sunset. Rules reasonable. Rooms for all. Kitchen supplies available. Location great.

The views are very good, decor might need some improvement . The kitchen was easy. The property has a lot of stairs and the living room is wacky. but the bed was comfy and the bathtub was deep.

Very comfortable vacation home

This is a large very comfortable home that was perfect for our extended family's stay, consisting of 3 grandparents, my son and two grandsons who are 4 and 2 years old. The home has a lot of adorable small decorative pieces, that we carefully moved to locations out of the reach of the children. There is one huge TV and a second very large TV and everything else you could imagine, including a ping pong table. The rooms were very comfortable and the master suite is huge with amazing views of Morro Bay. It is a short just over half mile walk to the Embarcadero, where there are all the restaurants and shops. Our large group had diverse needs and we were all quite happy here.

Fun and spacious with amazing view

This was my family's first stay at a rental property rather than a hotel and we could not have had a better experience! The house is fun with so much space to utilize. Families can spread out or be brought together, there is something to do in every room. I especially loved the unique layout with the split levels. Our favorite parts of the house included having breakfast on the balcony, which has a great view of the water and playing ping pong in the garage after a long day of exploring around town. There are so many windows that give the house a welcome feel to the area around you. Everything is beautiful, you instantly feel at home. The host keeps the home well stocked and everything is clean and ready for use. The whole process was smooth and easy and the host has outstanding communication. We will definitely be making another booking at the Miramar!

Great Location

The house was very nice, adequately stocked, and had lots of room. We were two couples, and didn’t spend much time at the house. It was walking distance to the waterfront with all of the shops and restaurants, which was convenient. Minor annoyances include shower heads that were too low if you are over 5’3”, but the water pressure was great. There were also a couple spots where there was about a 2 inch elevation difference between levels which was mildly distracting, but may cause some people to trip. One of the places was the entrance onto the kitchen floor was lower than the surrounding floors, and the other place was right outside the front door where the first patio step was just close enough above the second step that all of us either stubbed our toe or fell forward, forgetting that there was actually a step there, especially at night. For us the house served its purpose, but we would probably not stay there again since all the additional fees that were charged, added up to more than the actual 2 day rental rate.

Quaint, but dated and a bit shoddy

Very old house with very old furniture with worn out chairs and broken dining room room seats. There’s about a 22 inch TV in the main living room, which was unplugged. There’s no media the picture that they show of the view of the rock is not actually the view that you get so they give you an idea that you have a view of the rock when actually you don’t the management company was easy to work with very strict in their rules, especially in regard to parking we left the place very clean, but overall we’re disappointed the beds in the two double bedroom were extremely hard and lumpy, my friend was very angry and ended up sleeping on the floor on a phone pad with his wife. I'm sorry that you did not enjoy the home. We know this historic home with it's vintage MCM decor isn't for everyone, but we do try hard to convey that in the listing so no one ends up surprised by it. We manage approx 70 homes in the area and many are much more modern than this one, so hopefully we have a good fit for your next visit to Morro Bay or surrounding areas. There are a couple things we want to clear up for future travelers that may be reading this. There's only one photo of the Rock and it is an ariel view showing the proximity to the bay and Rock. We do not claim that it has rock views. The bed descriptions on the website are accurate- one king bed, one queen bed and a room with two full beds. But we will definitely look into the mattress quality in the room with two full beds. We are sorry your friends slept on the floor! Underwhelming

Pros - neighborhood Ping pong Soaking tub Cons - The entry instructions were not correct, and when I had to call into the management for the rental, they were already aware of the issue. The instructions were not correct. Windows are needed to be open for coolness but they have no screens. Second story floor but no screens are a safety issue. Bugs, spiders come in when windows are open. Again screens would help. Killed more than 5 spiders first 24 hours there l. Black widows Fire extinguisher expired 10 years ago-safety issue Tourists are vulnerable- but this rental will call you out by putting a sign in the front yard showing it’s a rental. Listing says there is an ice machine. Not correct. When we rent a home, we do so to use all features like home. The kitchen had no room for our pantry items. There are plenty of junk drawer items but the kitchen utensils, pots , pans and other cooking items are not plentiful. However if you need 100 coffee cups, they got you. All cupboard full of them. The tv in the living room is like 24 inches but the tv in the bottom floor, away from the main home is much bigger and should be moved up stairs. All couches are uncomfortable & painful I actually would NOT stay here again. Even for free. It was not comfortable. And the fees you pay for are too much. It’s definitely not safe here. There are also very strange items creepy pictures added behind the towels in the middle bath cabinet.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this home. It’s a cute, spacious place with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. Our favorite feature was the beautiful view of Morro Bay from the balcony—it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening.The home is conveniently located just a 4-minute drive from downtown Morro Bay. Morro Strand State Beach is about a 30-minute walk, so we found driving to be the easiest option.The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable at times. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

A wonderful time capsule home, well appointed with attention to Asian theme vintage decor. Great art books, plenty of games and kids books. The ping tong table was a big hit. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the water and the strip. Will rent again. Great water view from the upstairs patio. Guests should be aware that there is only one screen on the upstairs door and none of the windows so the house and especially the bedrooms can get hot and stuffy.
