Neil is very responsive to questions and supplies great suggestions for meals and what to do around town. Checkin and checkout is a breeze and the house is immaculately clean! Our furbaby was sensitive to the dogs next door in the beginning, but finally became comfortable with their greetings when she’d go outside. The backyard is lovely and a superb place to sit and relax, read, or just enjoy the weather. We plan to stay again the next time we visit local family! We highly recommend this property and Neil as a host!

This is by far the most spotless rental I’ve ever been in! It was perfectly clean. It’s clearly great for dog owners, though we didn’t bring dogs, and the neighborhood is great. We walked into Baywood every day, walked to a nearby school playground with our kids, walked to the bird sanctuary… it was great! Easy check-in and check-out. It’s a great place for older kids. For younger kids (ours are 6 and 3), we found ourselves in need of a stool and non-breakable dishes; otherwise the stay was wonderful and we will definitely come back.

Great walkable neighborhood. Loved being able to walk to coffee, bakery, deli and Beerwood. My only complaint is with the dogs next door (through no fault of the host). One of the reasons we booked this place was for the fenced in back yard bc we have a dog. However, we weren’t able to utilize it at all. Every time we went outside, the dogs next door would go ballistic and barked incessantly. The house was incredibly clean upon arrival, and the bed was comfortable (although the topper does tend to shift and has to be recentered every few days). Neil is extremely responsive.

Great Getaway

Our stay at Neils house was super comfortable!! Everything we needed!! The bed was super comfortable!! Neil was very accommodating and we had our dog with us!!! Very nice fenced backyard!! The daily walks with our dog to the bay was very pleasant and very close!!! Lots of little places to eat within walking distance. We met the owner of Merrimaker( a pub) beautiful place and dog friendly for sure!! Their patio is like a garden and very beautiful. The whole area is gorgeous. Avila/ port San Luis is about 20 miles away, they have a very nice DOG BEACH!!! Our pearl loves this beach where she loves to run with other dogs. I highly recommend anyone traveling with your furbaby stay at Neils house!!! Its very nice. And the whole area is suitable for your furbabies!!Thank you Neil. Hope to come back soon!!

Perfect location to take in all of the area .Walk to the bay restaurants and coffee houses 10 minutes from morro bay . I love the antique shops in Cayaucos Pismo 20 minutes up the road Great hikes all over the place. Ill be back. Thanks for the stay

Comfortable stay

Enjoyed our stay. Clean comfortable home. Nice size back yard for entertaining and small dogs. Close to bay and Elfin forest for nice walks. Would stay again.

Great Place

The house was clean, tidy, and well set up. The backyard was perfect for our dogs and very nicely landscaped. We were close to several great restaurants and also not far from the beach! Perfect vacation

We couldn’t say enough good things about this house and our experience overall. Amazing location, great house fully equipped, and just a perfect spot for a vacation. Amazing running trails, so close to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Not to mention Neil is a great host and everything was so easy. We can’t wait to go back.

Why they chose this property

This area is so low key it's unreal. If you drive the freeways in So Cal or Nor Cal come here to completely unwind or party with the locals (many activities going on). Minute walk to the back bay and toast the sunset just like they do in Key West. After a day of excursions come home to relax in the backyard, by the fireplace or put your pajamas on and take a nap in the comfy beds.
