About the host
Hosted by Catherine Wright

I have worked in Education for over 20 years in many different teaching roles and my husband is a semi-retired engineer. We have three grown sons and a beautiful Golden Labrador. We love travelling and our two most favourites places are Buxton and Portugal.
Why they chose this property
We first discovered Buxton around 10 years ago after visiting the Opera House to see a music show. We then became regular visitors, both as day trippers and overnight stays in hotels, B&B’s and apartments.
We purchased the flat as a second home October 2022. We have already visited the apartment and stayed over night on several occasions. We can’t be there all the time so we decided to rent it when we are not.
The flat you are staying in has been part of a full building renovation, it has been stripped back inside, insulated and has been tastefully renovated to a high standard with Marble tiles in the bathroom and kitchen splash backs. We have furnished it to make it homely and comfortable and we have added everything and more we think you may need for a comfortable stay.

What makes this property unique
As soon as you step out the apartment entrance you will be fully submerged in the centre of Buxton Spa Town on the main high street where everything is right on your doorstep. There are a variety of shops and places to eat, to suit Vegan & Vegetarian diets and within a few minutes walking distance of the Opera House, Famous Crescent, Pavilion Gardens, Pubs and International Restaurants.
