Nice pet friendly cabin. Fantastic location on a well laid out site. Hot tub was great. Check in should have been at 4pm but the host messaged to say the cabin would be available from 2pm which was a bonus. We had a good time.
Absolutely lovely lodge, perfect for a quiet get away. Hot tub looking over the loch, birds feeding on the front porch which i loved watching. Perfect location we will definitely come back. Thank you so much
A bit dated needing updated. clean enough, smaller than i thought it would be. Good clean hot tub. Good distance to water for fishing. John was very nice who owned the cabin.
Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place.
The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated.
Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day.
We're already looking to go back!
What a lovely cabin! We had the most relaxing time here. The kichen was fully equipped and the hosts had left cleaning essentials, which was a bonus. The cabin overlooks the loch and mountains, and sitting in the hot tub you have a perfect view of each. The cabin is on a site with a few other lodges but you still feel very remote and not overlooked at all.Everyone we met was so friendly and we loved meeting people in the village social club. Thurs -Sun there is food available (I think this is seasonal) and I could not recommend it more. So tasty! This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Watching my daughter paddle board in the loch was amazing as were the walks around the cabin.Tip - Make sure you do a shop before arriving. There is only one village shop that is also the local cafe, and nothing for at least 50 minutes. If you truly want to get away from it all, this is the place for you.

What happened
We were very disappointed with the accommodation. It had received glowing reviews, especially on cleanliness. This is really important for us and it was a shock to see how dirty the place was. The terraces were uncared for and the furniture unclean. The house was a little better but everything was dusty, dead spiders, smeary windows and hair in the shower.Very nice owner but something has happened as this was really not good. Otherwise great location, owner very responsive..Property quite tired looking with old furniture. Wouldn’t have bothered is if it had been clean.

Prachtig Dalavich
Cabin very nice and well located near the Loch awe. The jacuzzi and the access to the Loch are magical. You could see the ducks walk along the terrace at night !
Just a little bit noisy because you are in a sort of camping but it worth it.
Great wee cabin with hot tub, a bit confusing with check in details differing between vrbo instructions and owners instructions (go with owners instructions) Great community feel from the chalet site. Only slight downside is if you are a family that are over 6ft as cabin is very compact. Overall a lovely relaxing break.
We stayed in a cabin with hottud. We had a fantastic time but not the best view of Loch due to bushes. If they were cut back a bit it would have been perfect. This was our second stay and we had a lovely time very peaceful and relaxing. Will defo be back. X

Thank you for your lovely review, unfortunately the bushes ( oak trees) that you mention are on other cabin owners ground on the shoreline which we have no control of. It would be wonderful if they managed these trees so that everyone can enjoy views of the whole loch rather than through branches which are in full foliage at this time of year.
Thank you again for your review.
ve enjoyed the stay here.the cabin vas clean, surroundings too.unfortunetally it was raining so couldn't do much outside so we was watching tv most of the time.the walk along the shore was nice too. Ducks were very friendly. thank you
It was very fun, and we all enjoyed it very much. Although it rained alot that didn't ruin the beautiful scenery. The hot tub was lovely and amazing to come home to when it was cold. It was a massive bonus. The rooms were lovely and clean and I think if me and my family got the chance we would deffinately come back!
Ideal quiet location for peace and solace. Nice view from the living room. Everything you could need for a short stay. Very close to a nice lunch spot at the Wild Rowan cafe.

Lovely stay at Innis Chonnel! Cosy cabin with all the main amenities you would expect and, wifi, 2 pleasant deck areas and fantastic hot tub. Lovely grassy area in front + swingseat good for sunbathing! Loch Awe is stunning and the village of Dalavich is charming and peaceful. The lodge village is spacious and has a nice play area/rope swings for children and several small beaches very close to the lodge, great for swimming/launching kayaks/paddle boards etc. There are also good walks and mountain bike tracks nearby (no need to drive to). Takes ~ 15 mins drive to the nearest pub Kilchrenan Inn (very nice) There is a bar in the lodge village we didn't try but looked pleasant. ~ 30 mins drive to Taynuilt (couple more small shops and another pub) and ~ 45 mins to start of Ben Cruachan which is a very challenging hike we enjoyed! Also enjoyed a Seafari boat trip and the Whisky Distillery Tour in Oban. Don't forget midge repellent if you are suspectible! Try Smidge or we have been recommended Avon Skin so soft! Also perhaps travel sickness tablets if you are no good with windy roads- Dalavich is off the beaten track (although roads are in good condition)Thank you very much! Would come again.
