Location very convenient. Unit super spacious. Ac worked great (thank goodness!). Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. Layout with 3 bedroom overlooking courtyard was unexpected but nice and offered great privacy. Only great things to say. Highly recommend!
The location is great, close to a busy square, but off far enough that you don’t have traffic noises. Our boys each had their own rooms, so we could spread out and the rooftop was a great place to catch up on the day with a cocktail.
this third floor apartment is located in the casco viejo neighborhood, 2 minutes away from a vibrant square and minutes away from the presidential palace! the home is spacious and unique; the
The property was roomy and spacious while still offering privacy. Great location with easy access to shopping and dining. Fantastic rooftop patio with beautiful views.
Great great location. Easy access to anything in Casco. Plenty of space for a group and beds were comfortable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and our questions were answered quickly! Would love to stay here again.
Casa Rosa has a lot to offer. It is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is nice, you can easily walk to restaurants and shopping. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is also a bathroom in the main living space. The bedrooms are separate from the main living space, you have to walk out onto a balcony to access them. Owner was very responsive.

Unfortunately, our stay at Casco Viejo 7 did not meet expectations, particularly in relation to the listing description. The property advertised a water park, which we were unable to find or access during our stay. The unit was not very clean upon arrival, with ant powder visible in corners, dusty blinds leaving residue on dark doors, and several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a damaged kitchen cupboard door.Parking directly in front of the unit required payment to neighbors, which was not clearly communicated beforehand. The furniture was in poor condition—stained, uncomfortable, and in some cases damaged, with springs protruding from seating. The bedroom layout was also inconvenient, as bedrooms are accessed by exiting the main unit onto an outdoor deck.Bedding was very basic, with thin, worn sheets and minimal blankets. Towel supply was limited to one small towel per guest. The kitchen was minimally stocked and provided only the bare essentials.Overall, the property would benefit from improved cleanliness, maintenance, furnishings, and clearer, more accurate listing details.

Response from VrboOwner on 20 January 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to clarify some important points.
First, our property does not offer a water park. VRBO displays available activities in the city as a general reference, which are not part of the accommodation's amenities. This information is not controlled by the host and is not presented as an included amenity of the property.
Regarding cleanliness and supplies, we did not receive any requests during your stay for additional cleaning, linen changes, extra towels, or kitchen supplies. Had there been better communication, we would have gladly provided anything you needed immediately. For your reservation of four guests, eight towels were provided, which exceeds the usual standard.
Regarding the layout, the bedrooms are indeed located within the apartment; access is through the internal terrace, as shown in the photos and description of the listing.
Regarding parking, as indicated on the platform, we do not have private parking, and street parking is managed by third parties, which is common in the historic Casco Viejo area.
We have noted your comments regarding maintenance and furnishings to continue improving, as our goal is to provide a comfortable and transparent experience. We value constructive feedback and reiterate that we are always available to address any concerns during your stay, so that we can resolve them promptly.

Host did not send entry code until noon the day before, even when I requested - I’d read the VRBO quoted policy as 72hours in advance; she declined. It was my first VRBO experience; it made me feel uneasy. The neighborhood is well-located but still “transitional”. That was fine as it seems perfectly safe. It is close to a nicer area of town.Spaces are generally nice enough and the common space as pictured, quite lovely. But:The double bedroom had only one towel, one washcloth (no hand towel). The little (tiny) bedroom had NO towels but since the 3d bedroom had two extra large towels we were able to manage. I found the lack of towels incredibly inadequate (and a silly cost saving if that was the point) for 3 adults staying 5 days. The curtain in the tiny bedroom was half pulled down - a shoddy look. The ice maker did not work and there was no ice. The hot water eventually worked but there’s a tricky process and I had to get specific direction from the host. I question what the “cleaning” and the “service” fees - better to include in the rate than add on these surprises. There was no evidence of any attention to us or the apartment while there.Importantly, It should be noted in the information that this apartment requires walking up three full flights of steep stairs - about 20. Again, we managed but we are not young.By contrast, we went up to El Valle for a day and night and stayed at an exceptional VRBO property.
