About this property

Le Petit Brio is a fabulous apartment with a large private balcony and swimming pool access in the summer months. The apartment is perfect for 4 people to enjoy either a cozy winter retreat or a sunny summer getaway.

If you want to do your own cooking you will find a full sized fridge freezer, oven, 2 ring electric hob, microwave and toaster (as well as a fondue set and Raclette kit for some Savoyard favorites).

Only 50 mins from Geneva airport and 8 hours from Calais, you can easily reach the apartment by car, minibus transfer or public transport. The Grand Massif ski/hike/mountain bike area includes 5 resorts - Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon, Sixt and Les Carroz. For winter enthusiasts we have a great snow record with the lift access reaching 2500m and over 265km of pisted runs and endless off piste options to suit all levels and interests. In the summer the mountain lifts open up for mountain biking and hiking and we are also at the base of the famous Col du Joux Plane a mecca for road cyclists in the summer...... or why not just relax by the wonderfully refreshing natural lakes.

The chalet is part of a larger building including La Terrasse (sleeping 4 people) and Chalet Brio (Sleeping 16 people). During the summer months please note that the pool, hot tub and gardens are shared with these guests. If you would like an exclusive stay of up to 26 people please do contact us.

Very beautiful chalet

Zeer mooie en verzorgde chalet, met alle nodige voorzieningen. Zeer vriendelijke verhuurders en steeds ter beschikking. Mooie vakantie gehad ondanks een paar regendagen. Het zwembad is echt een surplus.

Skibus fährt gleich unten an der Straße ab. Extra Skiraum macht an- und ausziehen komfortabel. Hat uns sehr gefallen.

The chalet has always been in the Thompson family - designed and built by Robert and Caroline in 2007 and then bought by their son Joss and his wife Denee in 2017, the whole family have made sure this beautiful property remains one of the hidden gem in the Alps.

'With a passion for snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, road biking and mountain biking their was never a question of if we were going to move from our Surrey home to Samoens but when... In 2015 we were married in the Chalet gardens and in 2017 we were able to make the move. Since then we have added 2 new members to the family - Skyelar 4yrs and Khione 2yrs and have no plans to leave this wonderful family friendly year-round resort'.

Petit Brio combines modern luxury with all the charm of an Alps chalet. Magnificent wooden ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, cozy living spaces come as standard, but what makes Chalet Brio special is the Ground Source heat pump which provides all of the underfloor heating and hot water as well as the AirSource heat pump with heats the swimming pool meaning we keep our Carbon footprint low.

Petit Brio is pretty unique - a 4 person apartment with lots of space, wonderful natural light and comfortable living areas. Well, we love it - it used to be our home!
