Dirty house
I loved the location of the house as it was very close to our destination. Upon arrival host did communicate however I did not feel like I had communication on how to do things. There was no binder or “manual” to tell us where things were or how to do things like when trash/recycling truck was coming ( she let me know the night before), what I needed to do with the dirty towels/bedding once we left, etc.
I also would have liked to know there was a pet there. Because what if myself or one of my family members was allergic to it. I know there was one there because of the pet door and there was cat hair all over the patio cushions. The title of the house was “super clean house.” It was not clean at all. There was dried food on the kitchen floor. The microwave had crumbs all in it.
The dishwasher doesn’t work so I had to hand wash everything. We opened the dishwasher and this nasty smell came out cause there was standing water on the bottom. Tried to send pics to host but there was no “attach file” on app. (Using phone) so I asked for another number to send the pics too and did not get one. Overall I loved the location of the house and the neighborhood was very nice!
