The apartment has it's own entrance so it isn't accessed through a communal stair. The apartment is on the lower ground floor and has one flight of steps leading down to a small front courtyard. The apartment is fully equipped with all new appliances including a smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two spacious double bedrooms each with queen size beds, wardrobes, bedside table and a chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with a large shower.
Guests have access to the whole apartment and are welcome to use everything in the property. There is high speed unlimited broadband and a Smart TV where guests can log into their own Netflix, Amazon or other on line accounts. The heating is controlled by a NEST controller in the hallway and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the cupboard in the vestibule.
This apartment is in the vibrant area of Newington which has an abundance bars, restaurants and local facilities including supermarkets and cafes within a few minutes walk. The apartment is less about an 8 minute walk to George Square, and Arthur's Seat, about 13 minutes to the National Museum of Scotland and about 18 minutes to Edinburgh Castle. It is also ten minutes by bus from Princes Street. There are some great bars close by such as The Southern Bar and Clerks Bar. The Natural Food Kafe is also great for coffee.

This property is supposedly not listed on VRBO. I showed up to the spot and people were already there because it had also been booked through another site. The owner and VRBO were accommodating. I was fully refunded, but if you book this place on VRBO be prepared to not have a place to stay in Edinburgh.
