The large open-plan living space has been carefully designed to offer comfort, whilst offering that feeling of being somewhere special, being bright and airy with comfortable seating and stylish furnishings. The garden has a patio area which is south facing, catching the sun and overlooking the fields and countryside to the rear.
Nearby Warkworth is home to a castle that sits at the top of the hill, dominating the village with a lovely riverside walk and quaint bespoke shops and cafés. Amble is a popular small seaside town with a working harbour, harbour pod shopping area and plenty of cafés and restaurants.
Acklington village is an ideal location to explore all the surrounding areas. Northumberland is such a diverse county with miles of golden sandy beaches nearby and the most stunning National Park, famed for its dark skies. Head up further north and discover Holy Island, where the Lindisfarne Gospels were kept, and Bamburgh with the cliff top castle. Wherever you go from Ad Gefrin, you will be sure of a warm and genuine welcome from the local Northumbrian people.
