Beautiful period house ,enough bedrooms for everyone, couple of little issues at the start , but the host Leeann sorted them really quickly ,great communication, arranged an outside caterers to come in and cook for us ,all arranged through host , a real treat , lovely chef , fantastic food and experience, we overall had a fabulous week away with all the family ranging from 2 to 70 ,really enjoyable

Fantastic property

A beautiful house in a great location. Our host Leeann was fantastic, communicating brilliantly and so helpful. We were welcomed with a big bottle of fizz and a box of chocolates, which was a nice touch! We were a group of 20 and the communal space was fantastic for us to have a fabulous weekend all together. The whole house was spotless and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a great large group booking.

We rented Number Nine for a girls weekend and it was better than we ever expected! The house is stunningly decorated, with the comfiest beds and the best socialising space - huge open plan kitchen, dining, bar area which leads onto the outdoor BBQ & jacuzzi area....you honestly couldn't find a more amazing place! The owners were so helpful and friendly, even letting us check in early so we could get everything organised for the rest of the girls arriving. Huge thank you to Leeann. We'd give it 6-stars if we could :)

Beautiful house for a family Christmas!

Number nine is beautiful, there is ample room for everyone to spread out and the house meets many different needs. The bedding and beds are soft and welcoming, the decor is simple but relaxing. It was particularly lovely that as soon as you walk in the front door you could see the Christmas tree! We had sent many messages to leeann in the run up to Christmas and our stay and anything we asked was never a problem, leeann was always polite and kind and did all she could to help. We would not hesitate to come and stay again! Thank you! Xx

Lovely Stay

A last minute autumn break during the pandemic with another family of three. House is well equipped and nicely furnished. Great location. We were able to do everything on foot including Southwest Coastal Path walks, caves, bowling, mini-golf, restaurants and even grocery shopping so we didn’t need to use our car. Leeann was easy to reach before our stay and during as well, though we had no issues with the house. Hot tub was a nice bonus.

The best place I've ever stayed

This was the best place I have ever stayed in. The house is spacious, minimally decorated but perfect. The attention to the small details is start makes all the difference and made our stay incredibly enjoyable. We are already taking off going back to the area abs we know exactly where we will be staying.

Lovely week trip

Had a fantastic time with a big group of university friends. The weather during our stay was awful which ended up being a blessing in disguise as we spent most of our time in this wonderful wonderful house. No. 9 is truly a special property fully kitted out and was a beautiful environment for us.

An amazing house for an extended family holiday

This house is amazing! It is finished to a very high standard and equipped with everything needed. We had an a wonderful extended family holiday ranging from 15 years old to 85... everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again . Thank you Leanne so much.

fantastic house for group get together

After a bad start due to the weather we finally arrived at number nine a day late, but delay was soon forgotten the house is great, everything about it is a high standard from the decorating to the kitchen and bathrooms it had everything you need and the bar and hot tub was a bonus, we did not meet Leeann but she kept in contact and left a welcome pack for us, we would definitely go back.

Wonderful! Amazing! Fantastic!

We stayed two nights at Leeann’s. Communication was excellent! It is the most wonderful, immaculate, interesting house in the middle of Torquay. Such an elegant home! The hot tub and cinema room were a great plus. We were staying as a family group of 18 to attend a funeral. With 9 bedrooms and five bathrooms there was more than enough room for everyone including allowing for single people to each have their own bed. We had the bed in the Den made up too and, surprisingly for a sofa bed, it was a very comfortable too. The commodious kitchen in the basement with its large table was perfect for catering and seating for our large group. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed for a large party. We were wanting for nothing. The house is on a very quiet street and we had a good night’s sleep. This is so much better than any luxury hotel in Torquay and, we know, because we have stayed in a few of them! I think the only drawback is the parking. As a party we had 4 cars and only could park 2 of them because of scaffolding on number 8. This is a house I would love to own! At the very least I so much want to go back and stay there. Thank you so much Leeann!

50th Birthday knees up

Had a fabulous 50th birthday bash with family & friends in this beautiful period house with ultra modern accessories. Our group throughly enjoyed the kitchen/bar/den area for games, laughter & of course a little drink or two. Some great memories gained 😀

An excellent property, very well maintained. Perfect for a large family gathering .

We had a great time at Number Nine which was well located for walking to the sea front and numerous restaurants. The information pack was very informative and Leeann was quick to respond to any additional questions we had. We would recommend this property to anyone thinking of having a family get together.

Wow it's fantastic

We had a wonderful family holiday, there was 12 adults 2 children and one dog, age range from baby to my 80 year old mother.You cannot fault anything about this property it's amazing, it has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard. All of the bedrooms are more than adequate and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a real bonus and the cinema room was great for an evening. Geoffrey and Leeann were a mine of information,from the first email nothing was to much trouble they are a lovely couple. I have already recommended number nine to a friend. There is lots to do in the area Haldon forest was a great day out with something for everyone to do, We had an exquisite meal at The Old Vienna Restuarant for a family celebration,the owner opened his Restuarant at 4pm as we had young children, the food was devine and he was a wonderful host he even did a bit of yodelling. The English Riviera is a beautiful area to visit we had forgot how nice it is, there is so much to see and do something for all age groups. Fabulous

Four generations of our family enjoyed a lovely week at number nine. Plenty of space for a large group and close to the town centre, restaurants and amenities. The hot tub ,BBQ, cinema room and spacious dining area with bar meant that we spent far more time there than we intended. I would recommend this property for any large groups looking for relaxing time in luxurious surroundings. neat, clean and tidy, well done Leeann.
