Great London visit, cheap and messy linens

I had a good visit to London seeing my son and his gf who is studying there. The flat looked nice upon arrival, all good. But the towels in the bath were brand new but so cheap that they left lint everywhere including on my face and body after showering. Lint fell off onto the floor, the sink, the vanity and the commode at such a rate the floor was covered. The worst thing though was the accusation of theft of a duvet and pillow case set. I am a property owner myself and have it listed on VRBO among others. I am a long time client of VRBO and have consistently received high 5 star reviews when I’ve traveled and stayed at VRBO properties. This is the first time I’ve ever had such a claim. The icing on the cake was the 50Pound charge after check out. I tried to fight back but in the end, VRBO did little to support. Was a big disappointment.
