It is the perfect location for couples, family & friends to have a memorable holiday, with the sea but a stone's throw away, a myriad of animal parks, harbour towns, Country parks, woodlands and the Cathedral city of Canterbury all within a 30 minute drive. There are great public transport links to all local areas for you to be able to get around. You will truly be spoiled for things to do! If you fancy a stroll along the coast, you can walk all the way to the seaside town of Herne Bay in about half an hour. Walk the other way, and you will reach the charming town of Whitstable, famous for its oysters, eclectic shops and restaurants, and much, much more!

When you arrive at the property you can pull straight up onto the drive, which makes emptying the car of your belongings that much easier so that you can start to enjoy your stay at once! There is off-road parking for at least two cars.

As you open the door to this spectacular and unique holiday home, you will be greeted with a spacious hallway which leads into the large dining room. This has ample space for seating 10 people around the long table. There is a cupboard full of board games to occupy the family. To the left of the dining room you will see the music room, which is fully equipped with an organ and piano for all those budding musicians!

As you walk through the dining room, to your left you will find a fully tiled shower room, ideal after those days spent on the beach. The large family kitchen is next, which is fully equipped for you to cook up a storm or just bring back a takeaway, or for those special occasions perhaps even a private chef! A utility room leads off the kitchen, housing equipment such as a hoover, iron and ironing board and drying rack.

Leading from the main hallway of the property is the spacious lounge, with all your home comforts including plenty of seating for all the family, where you can snuggle down and watch TV after a busy day's adventuring.

There are double patio doors which lead out onto the large, south-facing and well-maintained garden, and a spacious patio area with seating, where you can sit and relax and enjoy a barbecue with family and friends! A small shed on the patio contains chairs, sun umbrella and the barbecue, as well as a power point to charge electric bikes.

On the ground floor is a good sized double bedroom which looks on to the drive. The room has a very peaceful, light and airy feel to it for that relaxing night's sleep.

On the first floor you will find the wonderful quirky main double bedroom, with a king-sized bed and spectacular views of the sea from the window.

Continuing along the first floor, there are two more double bedrooms, both south-facing and each with a light and sunny feel. One houses a double bed and the other, twin beds. The fifth bedroom has bunk beds for children of all ages. From the window you can see lovely seaside views.

You will also find the second main bathroom on this floor, with an attractive traditional freestanding Bathtub for relaxing after a long day.

Two special features of Beachcombers are to be found at the end of the garden: a beautifully constructed and furnished Wendy house, which will enchant and entertain little ones, and an area where dogs can be kept safely and securely.

family short stay at The Beachcomber
we had a very comfortable stay at this location. an extra bathroom would have been ideal.the wet room was very wet as the water did not drain away as it should so had a very damp odour. How ever it was in a very nice area close to the sea with friendly neighbours.
