Large spacious apartments in the famous Metropol building at the front corner with sea views from all rooms. The apartment is on the 3rd floor but has steps and a lift for easy access. There are two extremely comfortable queen-sized double beds in the enormously large bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge but we would recommend sleeping four only because the lounge only has seating for that number. Private parking space off-road Prime location right in the center of Whitby where the facilities are easily accessible, but if you just want a quiet meal and a drink, there's a public house and Chinese restaurant on the ground floor.

This really is a very luxurious apartment with a high-spec wet room with underfloor, heating, and top-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. There is a full sky package on both 60-inch widescreen TVs. Beautifully quiet location. Outside balcony. For people that just want to relax and enjoy the sea views No pets.

This truly is a beautiful, uncomfortable apartment that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Poor parking

Thee apartment was lovely, although some of the cutlery in the drawer was dirty. We booked this accommodation because there was on site parking advertised. The owner rang the day before to say that the parking bay was very small and we may not be able to fit in it and the chain can hit the car when windy, Unfortunately I damaged my car trying to park in the space, so this put a damper on what should have been a nice week.
