The villa has a whole house generator that comes on automatically when power is interrupted-which happens frequently on the island. Sometimes for 15 plus hours and usually goes out once per week for some length of time. A Whole House Generator means everything stays on including the air conditioning. ONLY approximately 10% of the homes on St. John have whole house generators. Some have small generators and Telsa wall units that don’t operate anything but lights and refrigerators. All Villas have electric water pumps that do not work with power outages. You won't have to worry about spoiled food, hot nights or no water if you book Villa Amerigo

Multi-Split super quiet Air Conditioners (this is not a window unit) are installed for your comfort. With individually controlled units in each bedroom and in the main living area. This villa has a huge, covered veranda that allows you to keep the large glass wall of windows open to walk effortlessly between the inside and outside living & dining area and enjoy the trade winds and daytime high temperatures between 78-88 degrees year round.

The Villa has one of the largest private pool and deck in Cruz Bay with plenty of chairs and lounges to accommodate a full villa. There is another lower Pool Veranda which allows guests to be poolside but in the shade. There are 2 off street assigned parking spaces per unit. A rarity on St. John.

Location, Location, Location. The Villa is 500 yards from the traffic circle and Dolphin Market. It’s about twice that distance to Mongoose Junction and the entrance to all of St. Johns famous north shore beaches, Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Hawksnest, Honeymoon Beach, Caneel Bay and other US National Park beaches.
Villa Amerigo is approx. 7500 sq ft total living space. It is constructed like a duplex with one unit above the other. This listing is for the Luxury 2 bedroom with ensuite bathrooms and an extra ½ bath in the living area. It is located on the complete Top Level of the Villa. This has its own entrance and veranda. It can accommodate up to 6 people with the 2 Sealy Posturepedic King Size Beds & Queen size Sleeper Sofa in the living room.
