Tideway is a spacious three-bedroom house boasting private parking and the beach on your doorstep.
With the beach just a stone's throw away, Tideway is the perfect setting for a fun-filled family holiday in Whitstable. This house boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a convenient shower room on the ground floor and a family bathroom upstairs featuring both a separate bath and a shower cubicle. The delightful garden offers a fantastic space for entertaining, featuring an outdoor dining area and a separate sunny patio.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
With the beach so close, you can easily return to the property for lunch and then enjoy another swim afterwards! A pleasant stroll along Whitstable's promenade will lead you to the heart of the town in one direction and the picturesque Tankerton Slopes in the other.Just across the road, Whitstable Castle offers a wonderful park and extensive grounds perfect for exploration and delightful picnics. Whitstable boasts an abundance of restaurants where you can savour local delicacies and charming boutiques offering beautiful souvenirs to take home.
You have access to all areas in the property.
Just off the hallway, you'll find a bright and airy open-plan living with a cosy wall mounted electric fireplace and dining area. Leading from this area is a fully equipped kitchen complete with an oven, hob and dishwasher. The ground floor also features a convenient, contemporary shower room with a toilet and basin, perfectly situated for washing away the sand and salt after a refreshing day at Whitstable's beautiful beach. The spacious garden is perfect for soaking up the sunshine or enjoying meals al fresco.
Ascending to the first floor, you'll find three bedrooms; 1 double, 1 super king and a third featuring children's bunk beds. Also situated on this floor, the family bathroom provides a relaxing bath, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the charming town of Whitstable, as well as a convenient walk-in shower, a toilet, and a basin.
Families will appreciate the provision of a complimentary freestanding cot and a high chair.
There is off street parking for 1 car and there is free street parking on Tower Hill, Northwood Road and Tankerton Road. The nearest paid parking is Beach Walk car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Street parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc. You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable.
There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Tankerton Road, Harbour Street, High Street etc. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover.

A much needed and deserved break with longer time friends. Accommodation was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed Canterbury and Tankerton.
Lovely walks. Definitely worth another visit.
A comfortable, very well equipped property; we were lucky with the weather, so outside space was welcome, and again comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to a slight problem with the heating. The property is central to Whitstable, and close too to Tankerton. Parking is a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
We chose to holiday in the UK this year, following the birth of our first grandchild in November. The house was perfect for our needs, allowing the three generations of our family to stay in one property. Location was ideal for both the beach and the town. The outdoor living space was well used. Great communication with the owners around checking in etc. All in all, great value for money, I would thoroughly recommend.
