The place is fabulous. The neighborhood is safe and accessible. Dimitris is a kind & thoughtful host & Nicoletta is quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again!
Beautifully appointed apartment with every comfort in a fantastic neighborhood. The balcony is a great retreat and you can see the movies on the outdoor cinema across the street. Restaurants and groceries are nearby, but it is very quiet. The beds are so comfortable! There is easy access to the Metro and you can walk to many sites if you like to explore on foot. The hosts were helpful and excellent at communicating before and during the trip. A true home away from home.
We had a great stay at the apartment. It is super clean and cozy. With all the books and beautiful pictures on the wall we felt like home. Our hosts were friendly and available.
We highly recommend this place
We did all of Greece from one location. Athens was perfect and Kolonaki is a wonderful neighborhood.
Was very easy check in ... Demitri was there and tour apartment with us.
outside theater across street in summer so have to keep doors closed during that gig fyi.
Great farmers market on street above every Friday fyi
My mother and I stayed at this apartment for about a week while touring Athens. We were at a hotel a few days prior and when we switched to this home, it was a night-and-day difference.
This apartment is absolutely beautiful, the pictures were 100% accurate. And as Swedes, we enjoyed the Scandinavian-Greek styles found in the decor.
It is located on the fifth floor, elevator available, in a quiet neighborhood north of one of the city centers. You can walk to Acropolis (25 min) and to several museums (under 10 min). If you go on tours, the hotels where pickups occur are a 15 min walk away. My mother, who cannot walk far anymore, greatly appreciated that she could enjoy the city and feel comfortable at the same time.
The neighborhood also features probably 20 restaurants within a 10 min walking distance (dozens more if you walked to the city center). Not a single one disappointed us, though they were on the more expensive side. Not surprising since we found out this neighborhood is one of the nicest in Athens.
The neighborhood was also supremely safe. There was no trash, no ruckus, and every resident seemed really kind.
Do yourself a favor and grab this apartment if you can. The owners were incredibly lovely, always communicating and ensuring our stay was positive.

About the host
Hosted by Mrs. Nicoletta Nomicou
I am from Athens, however I have very close ties with two beautiful Greek islands Santorini and Patmos.
As my father's family is from Santorini I spent all my summers there. Since I am a licensed tour guide, in 2004 I decided to move to Santorini in order to work there. This was a great chance to start renovating my family's properties in order to be able to share them with people from all over the world.
In addition, many years ago, my mother visited the island of Patmos, fell in love with it and decided to buy two beautiful pieces of land, including very old farmhouses in ruinous condition, that she slowly renovated. In this way, our family and numerous friends enjoyed many unforgettable Patmos Easters and summers. Nowadays, I am responsible for the good condition of the houses that I rent out and share the beauty and special ambiance of this island with our guests.
I am very lucky since my twin daughters, Alexandra and Christina, having completed their studies abroad in hospitality management and tourism, returned to their roots in order to continue and develop what I started. Genuine hospitality, love and respect for the island, as well as the embracement of the local culture define our core values. Nowadays we all share our time between Santorini, Patmos and Athens, and have the honour and pleasure to share our family's story and our properties, with visitors from all over the world.
