The little house in Hubbards was as charming as advertised! A perfect place to stay between visits to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy’s Cove, and Halifax. The house was easy to find and well maintained with everything you need. We appreciated the homey decor, cozy beds, and relaxing furniture. Staying in an affordable rental with a full size washer and dryer, charming bathtub, and reverse osmosis water tap was a perfect respite between hotel stays. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area. Don’t forget to stop by the Trellis Cafe for some coffee or breakfast. What a gem!

Very clean, well stocked, comfortable cottage. Friendly accommodating greeter with lots of valuable advise about the area.Fairly centrally located to Halifax, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Peggys Cove along the tourist route.Stunning scenery throughout the area.We really enjoyed our visit to Nova Scotia. A truly beautiful province, would highly recommend a visit.Concerns : a bit of early traffic noise and BBQ was in need of replacement, otherwise a really comfortable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The house had everything we needed. The deck provided a sunny but shaded place to relax after a day of cycling on the nearby rail trail. We also enjoyed all the local themed artwork found throughout the house.

We loved our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable and had lots of character. It was very clean and communication with the caretaker and owner was very easy. Hubbards was an easy drive to all of our stops. Lunnenberg, Bay of Fundy and Halifax. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Vacation

Loved our stay at this little historic house. Well stocked kitchen and very comfy beds. Close to Peggy's Cove which we visited twice and great eating places.

Great cottage with all the amenities. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable to stay there. We were able to sit outside on warm evenings and in the morning before breakfast on the deck and sit in the very comfortable lounge. We would come again to stay!

Not the hosts fault at all but there was a lot of construction on the road in front of the house and also construction, which was very loud, in the back of the house. Made sitting on the back deck impossible. Things to think about if I was the host: a hose like faucet in the bath tub, a second air conditioning unit on the second floor, update to flooring in the kitchen where tiles are broken. Overall a charming home.

This "little house" is a gem. So clean and fresh, the linens were lovely, the kitchen well stocked, all amenities were great. The deck, the BBQ, everything was perfect.
