About this property
The Cricket Pavilion, Warham, Norfolk
With views of paddocks and just a mile inland from the North Norfolk Coast, this old cricket pavilion has been brought back to life as a glamping style hideaway. Boasting direct access to both the coastal path and the village pub that offers the perfect place to relax and unwind. For an additional touch of luxury, you can add a wood-fired hot tub to your stay.
Inside The Old Cricket Pavilion you are greeted by a warm and cosy living area - all with quirky cricket touches, so you never forget the interesting past of this bijou bolthole. Wide windows line one side, giving you views across rolling paddocks from every aspect of the pavilion. There is a super-king bed at one end with hand crafted cricket ball lamps on either side. There are two wicker chairs and an old Singer table for those evenings when you wish to dine inside, or watch something on the smart television. The kitchen has a hidden under-counter fridge with icebox, double electric hob and sink. There is even a Nespresso machine for a morning coffee on the decking. The bathroom has a wide shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Stepping outside, there is a decked area with wooden chairs to sit with a drink and good book. Down the steps is a lawned area to the front and a decked area hidden to the side with a wood-fired hot tub and table and chairs. Upon arrival, kick off your shoes and open a bottle of bubbles as the rustic wood-fired hot tub heats up. There is a small firepit which can also be used as a barbecue for those alfresco dinners.
The village pub, The Three Horseshoes is only 250 meters away and there is a small path direct to the back of the pub from the pavilion. The beautiful North Norfolk coast is also accessible directly from the property; you can walk down the owner’s driveway and join the coastal path at Stiffkey marshes.
Additional Information:
The hut is located in a rural location surrounded by open fields. The owner occasionally has access to the nearby fields.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge. There is a wired fence, but it is advised that dogs are kept on the lead, as small dogs may be able to pass through. Please note that dogs must be kept off the furniture.
A wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional charge of £75 per stay. Due to the remote location of the hut, the hot tub cannot be heated for arrival. It may take a few hours to warm up, and further instructions will be provided at the hut.
A starter pack of logs, kindling, charcoal and firelighters is supplied with more available to purchase from the village shop.
Parking is by the hut and accessed by a track through a meadow. Please note it is an uneven track.
