Very Convenient for Location and Family groups
Great house, great location. Convenient to everything, metro, shopping markets. Located at the north line metro which will get you to all the hot spots.
Overall the property is a good one. Great location, very near the underground, buses run regularly, lots of restaurants nearby and a couple of grocery stores too. The park up the street is a nice place to stroll, and the neighborhood is quiet. There are things that could be improved on. A binder telling how things work would be lovely, it took 3 conversations with our host to understand how to turn on the heated towel racks. The sofa is very low, and hard for adults to get off of. The kitchen is fairly well appointed, it could use a couple of baking trays. And the lack of cloth linens, we had one kitchen towel for 2 weeks (we purchased more) plus no potholders should be remedied. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.
Let me start out with the positive aspects: it was close to a tube station, grocery store, and several small restaurants. The three full washrooms were updated and clean. The very large fully opening patio door to the garden was a nice feature. However, it was very challenging to communicate with the host. My questions were always answered by AI, very impersonal and clearly did not comprehend my questions. The main flooring was not clean. The runner carpet on the main stair was filthy and unattached to the steps, which clearly represented a trip hazard for all. The roller blinds in all bedrooms were broken, and could not be raised. The large blackout curtains in three of the bedrooms were either pulled off the rails or the rails were loose and hanging down. The skylight blind was totally broken. There were no dish cloths or tea towels provided, so we had to buy our own. Some of the cupboard drawers were broken. The bottom of the dishwasher was chipped, as was the coffee table. The very worn dining room chairs had their lining hanging down below the seats. The large vertical blind cords were both broken and so, had to manually open the blind to let air in and to be able to open the patio door. The patio also was not clean. We had to sweep and get rid of the water filled, snail covered bbq.The large L-shaped couch was extremely low, challenging to get out of, was filthy and worn. It smelled. This accommodation has a lot of potential, but clearly needs some attention.
