Appropriately named "SERENITY NOW" this spacious 4BR-4BA home sets the stage for a memorable vacation! The Bungalos neighborhood is one of the most popular in the Resort. This quaint enclave features Florida cottages peacefully tucked away on the bayside of the Resort.

No detail has been overlooked! You will find travertine floors, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless appliances, 10-foot ceilings, crown molding, wainscoting, upgraded washer-dryer and an additional refrigerator. The spacious downstairs primary bedroom suite is inviting with a king bed and lovely furnishings. The bath offers a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the first level offers new twin bunk beds. You will also find a guest bath on the first level with a tub/shower combination. The second level features a king bedroom suite and an adjoining bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom on this level is furnished with two sets of bunk beds (fulls over twins). Conveniently located between these two bedrooms is a Media Room offering a sofa, chairs, large screen TV, dvd player and games. Two distinct living areas make this home popular for family vacations. Relax on the screened porch while children play in the yard. A gas grill is provided!

This home includes TWO GOLF CARTS: 4 passenger and 6 passenger golf carts at no additional charge. The home is just steps to the neighborhood's heated pool and putting green. As with every home at the Resort, you are never more than a 10 minute golf cart ride from the Village, Tennis Center, Marina, 4 Championship Golf Courses, shopping at Grand Blvd, and of course, the emerald green waters and sugar white sands of our beach. 2452 Bungalos is where vacation memories are made!

NOTE: The total reservation cost includes the nightly rate, clean fee, damage waiver, transportation fee (for select properties), processing fee and tax. By requesting a quote for this property, you agree to be added to our email subscription list.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Great stay

This unit was very spacious and well equipped. The couple times we had an issue it was taken care of quickly. The 2 golf carts were great. Good location to get to anywhere in Sandestin. Family was there for a few days so nice to have the extra space.

We rented the house to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and my nephew's 9th birthday. The rental company was awesome and worked with us on changing the dates due to a health issue. The house is gorgeous and is larger than it looks. The furnishings were lovely. Only recommendation is maybe put tvs in the bunk rooms (for rainy days). Also, the photo makes the driveway look larger that it is. There is overflow parking though.

Just the vacation we hoped for

Our family of seven (with children ranging from 3 to 18) all had a spot to make their own. The house is so accommodating! There was literally nothing that we had wished were different. Having two large rooms with ensuites was perfect, the upstairs tv nook is where our 9 year olds liked to hang out the most playing video games when we were “home.” Having two golf carts made all the difference, so we could divide and conquer whatever activities the group wanted to do. We opted to eat lunch at home quite a bit, just to reset after being knocked around the waves in the mornings, the home was such a nice little refuge to recharge, refuel and then get back at it. The location was so perfect to us, whether we wanted to head to the warf, the marina, the beach...we were just a few minutes cart ride from whatever we wanted to do. We will definitely be recommending this spot to anyone heading to the Destin area, and we plan to make this an annual trip so long as this home is available.

Missed the mark

Reviewer Comments: When renting a vacation home for the week, the expectation is that the property will be “move in” ready upon arrival. This property and Beach Blue properties LLC missed the mark on so many levels. Throughout the duration of our stay we dealt with a host of issues including (but not limited to): a shattered beer bottle left in the freezer ice bucket which my children were using before we found out, over cleaner sprayed in the oven but never cleaned out, a broken dishwasher that was “repaired” and then promptly broke again, a flat tire on one of the golf carts (that was inflated only to fall flat again 72 hours later), a broken toilet, no internet service and a smoke alarm beeping throughout a night. The management company did respond in a timely fashion to all of our calls and patched each issue, but the inconveniences continued all week and each time disrupted what we were doing or how we had planned to do something. I understand that these things do come up occasionally (we are homeowners), but when they occur repeatedly throughout the entirety of a stay, you start to realize that this is not the management company you want running your property and that trying to save a buck repeatedly patching problems that need a better long term solution is no way to run a rental property. There are plenty of companies from whom you can rent a place to vacation at Sandestin but 2452 Bungalos is NOT it and neither is Blue Beach Properties.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to learn you were not pleased with your stay and apologize for any issues you encountered while staying with us. We take full responsibility for any cleanliness issues you experienced and are happy to hear that we were able to return to the unit to remedy your concerns. Although we strive to provide our guests with spotless and problem-free vacation rentals, we work diligently to address unexpected issues that arise and are very sorry to hear you felt otherwise. According to our records and phone calls, our team was met with a barrage of profanity and insults on more than one occasion, making it difficult to address these issues appropriately. Nevertheless, our guest was offered a refund for his trouble upon arrival and each complaint was met with the utmost care and consideration. Regarding the dishwasher, our team determined that the issue was due to overloading of the bottom tray restricting closure in combination with a latch malfunction. Although we were not able to fix it immediately, Coastal Appliances was called and was able to promptly resolve the issue. Although the glitches with the WIFI occurred due to storms in the area, the WIFI was assessed and adjusted. Lastly, the golf cart tire was inflated, instead of being removed and replaced, in order for the golf cart to be operational for guests use. It has since been inspected and the slow tire leak has been repaired. Again, we sincerely apologize for any issues you experienced and are very sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. We are working diligently to address all issues mentioned and appreciate your feedback.

Everything as Expected and more

Reviewer Comments: Having done numerous rental houses, it's always a concern if the reality will live up to the listing and this place exceeded expectations! This is a very well built house with a great layout, serene backyard/porch and most importantly comfortable beds!! The 4 seater golf cart works like a charm, we did not try the 6 seater since we didn't need it. The pool/putting green are RIGHT there! The pool was heated the first week of our stay but appeared the heat was turned off after Christmas which was a disappointment but there is a large gradual incline/lap pool a mile up the road that is heated year round. It was a quite cove where our kids could safely ride there bikes and play in the street plus a great backyard for digging in the sand and throwing the baseball around. The one time we needed the property manager (our 1.5 yr old managed to lock himself in his room!) she answered immediately and took immediate action. Thankfully he got himself unlocked and they weren't needed but her responsiveness was impressive giving the holidays. Overall the Resort was safe, clean, fun and had some amazing restaurants! We will be returning for sure and hopefully staying here again.
