About this property
The Brewhouse Boscastle Harbour
The Brewhouse – Boscastle 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 – Pet Friendly You would be hard pushed to find a property on par with The Brewhouse for location in the village of Boscastle. Combine that with private parking and garage, plus a huge garden area right on the river bank on the very heart of the village and you will begin to envisage just how special this uniquely pink property is.
A small lane from the private road along the river takes you along the garden to the parking space and garage directly outside The Brewhouse, there will be no need for trips backwards and forwards for loading and unloading the car as this is directly outside the front door.
As you enter this character filled property via the traditional cobblestone lane, you will be welcomed into the hallway of The Brewhouse. Through double doors you will find the newly decorated living room, with inviting comfortable furnishings, surrounding the log burning stove and wall mounted TV. Across the hallway, you will find the large fully equipped kitchen, with dining table. You will also find a separate utility room with ample storage, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a WC and shower cubicle. There is a second bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath and WC.
As you climb the open plan stairs you will notice views to the river and front of the house through a window half way up. A long landing takes you to three bedrooms. The master with King-size bed and two twin bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. All of the bedrooms offer beautiful views towards the village and out into the harbour.
Outside of the cottage you will find a small private, patio courtyard with picnic bench and worktop for a disposable BBQ should you wish to have one. You will also find access to a large private, enclosed grassy area, which is ideal for spending family time in the sun and is of ample size to give your furry friends a good run!
The property is located in the very heart of Boscastle, which itself is a popular tourist area, offering lots to see and do, a number of very popular pubs and restaurants, boutique shops, the Witchcraft museum and of course the historic fishing harbour. Along the coastal path past St. Nectan’s Glen Waterfall, or a very short drive away you will find Tintagel, the Arthurian village, steeped in Cornish Mythology. Again, with lots to explore, offering another selection of very popular pubs and restaurants as well as King Arthurs Castle and caves. A little further on you will find sandy beaches at Daymer and Polzeath, Port Isaac, where you may meet the famous Doc Martin, or The Fisherman’s Friends and of course the culinary capital of Cornwall, Rock & Padstow. In the other direction you will find Crackington haven, yet another popular beach and a little further afield, Widemouth Bay and Bude, both boasting beautiful scenery and some great spots for a day out.

This was a really nice property to stay in. Clean and comfortable and very central to Boscastle. Everything within walking distance and for those things that weren’t, we had a double parking space (one being in the garage and one outside). Outside we also had a terraced area with a picnic bench and our own lawn and benches. Highly recommended.
