About this property

We believe that we have created a stylish, comfortable and cosy 2 bedroom retreat in the centre of Stonehaven close to the Carron River and Stonehaven beach. You will find us right across the road from the new riverside walkway which leads to the beach promenade and boardwalk. 15b is only a few doors from the world-famous Carron fish & chip shop and Bucket and Spade ice cream parlour, just across the road from Cafe Noir for your coffees and crepes. 15b is perfect for exploring Stonehaven, Royal Deeside and the northeast of Scotland.
The space
The flat is in the middle of three flats in a block which used to be a bakery we have been told. You have a fully equipped kitchen/living space, including a Smeg oven, 4-ring Induction hob and a built-in microwave with a small breakfast bar.
There is a 3 seater leather couch and an adjustable round dining table for 4. The windows to the front of the property face the beach boardwalk entrance and are great for people-watching

Stoneheven The Perfect Stay

First of all I would like to sincerely thank you for taking time out of your day to pick me up at airport. I don’t think that was part of your job as host, but once again. It was nice to meet you and talk. Also so kind of you to show me the important place I should need while there. As I told you the apartment was very comfortable and I love how you decorated it. I used the coffee machine and it wasn’t to hard to handle. I just walked to the Dunnottar forest and it was really beautiful. I met some lovely people there that helped me along and one actually walked with me and she had a dog who was enjoying herself too. Got a lot of good walk down by the harbor and was able to enjoy the crepes at cafe noir. Thanks for the suggestion. I found the bus station and was able to go to the castle too. Very windy but very impressive. Thank you for all your help with any question I had too. It was a pleasure to stay there. Scotland is fantastic.

I am originally from Dublin and Julie can track her family history in Stonehaven back hundreds of years. We have a young family at school in Stonehaven and we just live around the corner from the flat so we are available for advice about what to do and where to go in the area as we love living in Aberdeenshire and are delighted to share our passion for the area with others!

Why they chose this property

Having a world-famous tourist landmark within walking distance "Dunnotter Castle", a gorgeous beach and boardwalk just across the road and a fantastic choice of cafes, bars and restaurants in the town how could you not love it? Also, it's the home of the deep-fried Mars bar... what's not to like?

What makes this property unique

We bought the flat and converted it to a holiday / short-term letting property from the beginning based on what we as guests would like so it is designed for its purpose and meets all legislation and local laws. We believe we offer a stylish and comfortable stay, in Stonehaven and we are brilliant value for money. All appliances are new from when we opened in April 2023 and we offer a selection of streaming services on our two smart TVs.
We are also across the road from the beach access and have views of the sea. We are also very customer-focused and do our very best to make sure that guests staying with us have the best possible time.
