Very inviting inside and out. Our hostess, Sheila, provided a beautifully decorated apartment attatched to her home. It was a cozy place to recuperate from our visit to Dunnotter Castle. An excellent restaurant, Cammie's, is within walking distance.
An absolutely lovely place to stay within close range to many places to visit.
Spacious and quiet it gave us a little haven away from the hustle of travelling.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.
All very good (apart from the fact that this couldn't have been a ski holiday – I was too hasty with my review and there's no way to go back: that's not Sheila's fault: it's your web site!!!)We have used this accommodation before and itwas just as good as ever: nice lounge, comfy bed; good parking, superb facilities. We found the shower tended to spill over onto the stone floor but it was easily mopped up.
Comfortable, well equipped appartment in a quiet location just off the A92 and close to the coast. Lack of oven mentioned in previous reviews, but modern 2 hot plate unit, microwave, and toaster together with full range of cooking equipment, fridgefreezer& dishwasher provided everything we neededWould recommend this place to others

Thank you. Hope we can host you again.

This property was very clean. It has a lovely bathroon and is quite spacious. It has an eclectic mix of furniture and decor. The kitchen area is small and has no cooker as such - just a portable 2 ring hob. The off road parking is good and the proximity of Portlethen train station made travelling to Aberdeen very convenient.
The property is beautifully presented and well equipped. In a very cold spell it was very warm and welcoming at the end of a day out. Over all a place I would recommend. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words Debbie. Hope to see you back. Sheila
This is our third visit which probably says it all! The property is war, clean , comfortable and peaceful. It isn't really equipped for proper cooking but has a toaster, small mobile hot plate and toaster, very adequate for our needs. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and unobtrusive.
Excellent location for us.
Kitchenette sufficiently well equipped for us as we didn’t need to cook meals.
Sitting room and bedroom / en-suite very comfortable.
We know the area well so knew it was safest /easiest to go to turn left onto the dual carriageway ( towards Aberdeen) and double back at the roundabout at Portlethen to head towards Stonehaven.
The property was very spacious and well set out. This helped to make our stay very nice.
The West Wing was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
On the downside the location was slightly outside the closeness we would have liked to have been to Stonehaven. Albeit it was a very nice and quiet area. Wouldn’t think twice about recommending this place to anyone looking for a nice break.
Sheila & Ray make you feel so welcome and very accommodating. I have two dogs and Ray couldn't do enough to make sure they were safe and not able to escape from the garden. We will defiantly be going back

Thank you for your lovely review. See you soon. Sheila
Most places look spacious in the photos but when you arrive they are tiny….. this place is amazingly spacious. Beautiful windows to look out over farms/gardens. Ray was so welcoming bringing toys for our son. Communication/ check in was very easy. Buses run very frequently just a short walk down the road. The only down side was that we didn’t stay long enough!
A wonderfully located, very well-equipped, large two-room apartment with every comfort. A large, bright bathroom with daylight, with shower, towel warmer, good beds, small kitchenette with oven and large dining table, no equipment missing.
Very, very friendly, warm owners who were easy to talk to about everything. No restrictions at all - day trips to Dunnottar Castle, Fraser Castle, Aberdeen etc. are possible without any problems. Highly recommended apartment that corresponds exactly to the description.
Great! Any time again
Great bed, shower and settee but the kitchen was so small and would benefit with an upgrade. No hotplate only a microwave and grill combi. Grill difficult to operate. Dish washer is not required. Instead a full fridge would be better as I found the fridge too low for my back. The grass in the garden was very deep and the fence too low for one of our dogs who bound jump it. Also the entrance to the accommodation had abnormally high steps.
The property is warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sheila is responsive to communications , and was happy to accommodate a change of date when we needed it. This was our second stay, it probably won't be our last. Once again, thank you Sheila.
Property was nice and clean when we arrived and was in a great location with both Stonehaven and Aberdeen a ten minute drive away. The host had printout of near by walks which was very helpful for our dog walks. The host also provided a high chair and travel cot for us on request and was very accommodating as a whole.
Excellent accommodation everything was immaculate you could not have asked for more even little touches like special tea, coffee pods , salt and pepper etc. Even my dog JJ had an excellent stay. Thank you to Sheila and Ray who were excellent hosts and gave you total privacy.
Property was lovely, clean and nice and quiet. We were happy our dog Murphy could stay with us.
