A wonderful estate to explore!

Room was comfortable and clean, however, having the dog encouraged us to explore the wonderful estate on a sunny morning. We discovered the lake, old rose garden, statues, and various other parts of history which were obviously once well loved but in need of a little TLC following the fire. Hopefully it can be reinstated to its former glory soon but still a gorgeous walk.

Nice room and grounds but website is misleading

What I liked, the well kept grounds and the gatehouse accommodation. What I disliked, the website gives no indication that the main building has had a fire and is closed yet the pictures say otherwise. No possibility to get food or a bar to have a drink in.
