3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. A spacious cottage in a private setting within a short drive of Clifden town, and a perfect space for families, friends, and couples to share. Ideally situated close to wonderful walking and cycling routes such as the Derrigimlagh Looped Walk, and Errislannan and Roundstone Bog Road cycling routes. The cottage offers beautiful countryside and mountain views from almost all rooms, as well as large spacious gardens and wooded areas, all steeped in nature. The outdoor covered patio and open terrace and BBQ area are perfect places to sit, dine and relax in the fine weather.
Clifden is a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara which offers many bars, restaurants, shops, and services. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, you are a just a short drive from a selection of beautiful sandy beaches at Ballyconneely and Roundstone, where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding. There are many more walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Connemara Greenway, Ballynahinch trails, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more. Festivals of note in Clifden town are Clifden Arts Festival, The Connemara Pony Festival, Clifden Traditional Music Festival, and many more throughout the year.

3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. The accommodation is over two levels and consists of kitchen, utility, open plan living room and dining room, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, mezzanine with study area, and a second small sitting room, as well as ample outdoor space.
Upon entry through the hall, you will find the main living areas, including kitchen, utility, and living and dining room. The farmhouse style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and ample tableware and cookware. The adjacent utility room houses a washing machine.
The large living and dining room area features high ceilings, wood burning stove, large multi-channel TV, comfortable couches, large dining table and chairs, and cosy window seats. It offers wonderful countryside, garden, woodland, and mountain views from the large windows, which fill the room with natural light. Two bedrooms, a second sitting room with two futons, and the main bathroom complete the downstairs accommodation. A staircase adjacent to the dining area gives access to the upper floor, which houses a large study area and mezzanine, and the third bedroom.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, ample storage, and wonderful mountain and garden views. It also has an en-suite bathroom with shower, WC, and sink.
Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom, with garden and terrace views. It is located beside the main bathroom, which has a large shower area, WC, and sink.
Bedroom 3 on the upper floor is a large super-king room with ample storage for guests' belongings and it offers fabulous mountain and countryside views. It also boasts a large en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC, and sink.
The upper floor mezzanine includes a desk and chair, a perfect workstation with beautiful views. There is also a library of books and comfortable chairs in this area for those who just want to sit, read, and relax. The upper floor area is not suitable for young children. A stairgate is in place and should be used to ensure that young children and toddlers always remain on the ground floor area of the property. A cot and highchair are also available.
Guests can enjoy the large gardens and spacious outdoor areas, which include a covered patio and a sunny terrace with garden furniture, and a BBQ area. All perfect places to sit, dine and relax in the fine weather.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout by an oil heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and wi-fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Sorry, no pets. Parking is available on site for up to three cars. Short breaks are available year-round.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.
