Located on upper Sky Road, this cottage is really excceptional, with a heavenly view.
Perfectly fitted out, it offers all the conditions for an unforgettable stay, stimulating for the body and mind.
Absolutely recommendable.
This place is a gem. It was an excellent Basecamp for us to explore the west part of Ireland. The home has an amazing view, the bedrooms were lovely and well maintained. The kitchen had a large oven and microwave for us to cook. There were plenty of plates and utensils for the family. The washer and dryer were key as it allowed us to pack less and allow for more souvenirs . We stopped in LIDL for all cooking needs.I would recommend and would love to come back.

Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!

Comfortable cottage in a stunning setting
We enjoyed our stay here. Our contact Martina was a pleasure to deal with. The cottage has everything you need, but one or two improvements would help: the oven was tricky to use as the numbers on the dials had worn off and the door didn't close. There is only one bathroom, which may be an issue for large groups. The house was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The views of the 12 Bens (when not smothered in cloud) are spectacular. I would recommend the cottage without hesitation.

Idyllic Location
Peaceful and stunning location on Sky Road with easy access to gorgeous coastline of both north and south Connemara. Helpful and friendly caretaker. House is spacious with on the whole a very well equipped kitchen, perfect for self catering.
Minor improvements would be to provide a bathroom towel rack and some oven gloves. Also, please secure the corners of the extractor fan hood which inflicted a few painful bumps over our stay.
Finally, please provide some basic essentials such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc so guests can prepare a quick snack on their arrival or breakfast before doing a big supermarket shop. In our experience this is standard in holiday home rentals.
We would definitely consider renting this cottage again.

Moldy Cottage
The views on this cottage are stunning but that's where it ends for us. One of the rooms had mold on the walls and several of the roller shades have mold. We got in late at night after dark and didn't notice the mold in the room. My husband woke up sick. I notified the property management company and they are going to relay it to the owners. This cottage is a health hazard in my opinion until the mold is remediated.
