About the host

Hi I'm Mark, a surfing dad who loves Cornwall. A former journalist I now work in tourism looking after my own and other people's holiday homes
Why they chose this property
Situated between the Bodmin Moor and the north Cornish coast for me this is the ideal place to live. Valley Truckle is a quiet hamlet on the edge of Camelford located between Bodmin Moor and the sea making it an ideal base for holidaymakers. Camelford, which is a short walk away, has restaurants, pubs and shops. The BP garage 2 minutes walk away has a Londis shop selling most basics. Moorland walks can be undertaken straight from your door, or a short drive to the other side of town boasts the amazing walks and views from Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Alternatively, drive a few miles the other way and you'll be on the beach enjoying the rugged delights of Trebarwith Strand, or having a meal in the Port William watching the waves hit the cliffs. Just down the road are the scenic delights of Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock and Polzeath.
What makes this property unique
This super high end hut is decorated and built with period fittings and original artwork. Apple Blossom boasts an eco wood fired hot tub, luxury bathrooms and kingsize bed set in a quiet paddock with just one other hut, ideal to rent if coming with friends
