We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable and excellent place for an extended stay. Great kitchen, In the beginning of the stay, the hot water heater unexpectedly stopped working, but the host handled the situation exceptionally well. Monica responded immediately, kept us updated throughout the repair process, and made sure everything was resolved as quickly as possible. The host's professionalism and attentiveness turned what could have been a major inconvenience into a minor hiccup. We truly appreciated the level of care and communication.We were in the abnormal heat wave for the lake and mountain area in the end of June 2026, and the air conditioner had a hard time keeping pace with the 95-96 F. degree heat. There was a single A/C in the hallway for the 3 bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. The bedroom in the basement did not have an A/C unit but was relatively cool because in the basement. There was also an A/C unit in the living room. Fans were provided and we were grateful for the A/C that we did have, because many VRBO Europe places didn't have any A/C units in the homes. Overall, a great stay and an excellent host. We would happily return in cooler temperatures.
