The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen equipped with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dining seating for four guests, and a sitting room with TV, WiFi and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV, en-suite bathroom and a king-size (zip/link, can be 2ft 6" twin beds, on request) with an en-suite shower room, along with a cloakroom. Outside there is a private front patio with picnic bench, as well as off-road parking for four cars. Within 4.9 miles you will find a shop, within 1 miles, a pub (via footpath/lane on foot or 2.5 miles by car) and within 0.1 mile, a river and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bunts Barn is a lovely base from which to explore all that Devon has to offer. Note: There are stone steps leading up to the first floor, please take care.

Hatherleigh lies in the Torridge Valley just seven miles from the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, and is a wonderful central location for the coast to coast long distance trail, which includes the popular Tarka Trail. The town itself offers a varied selection of interesting craft shops, country inns and cafes. Within driving distance are Okehampton Castle, the beautiful RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington, and even to the dramatic surfing beaches around Bude. Hatherleigh’s central position makes it an ideal location from which to explore this area of Devon.
