Separate Toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Number 29 is an ideal retreat for couples within easy walking distance of the many attractions in Alwnick. With ample space for two, enter the light airy entrance hall and go through to the large bright living area with cosy large L-shaped sofas, a smart TV and a dining area reflecting a modern ambience throughout. The well-equipped separate kitchen with a coffee machine and all you need for your holiday are on hand. From the living room step through the patio doors out to a small grassed area, ideal for a morning cup of tea or evening glass of wine before you head out to explore.

Number 29 is a great place to stay within walking distance of the historic market town of Alnwick. There is a super choice of amenities in Alnwick, including a cinema/playhouse, restaurants, independent shops and a variety of pubs within walking distance. Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland and the film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, is a popular visitor attraction and is within walking distance. Visit Alnwick Gardens, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, which includes a grand cascade waterfall, poison garden and a restaurant situated within the largest treehouse in Europe.

Loved , loved this cottage. Spacious, warm and the copious amount of channels available on the TV for those wet afternoons was fabulous. Everything was thought of to make our stay so comfortable. No shortage of anything, so much so I’ve taken details of some of the fittings etc for our own home !. Lovely touch with dog biscuits and poo bags. Small things, but so welcome. No hesitation in recommending and hope to be back soon.

The cottage is ideally located and the off street parking is a bonus. The property is well laid out and spacious with everything you could need for a relaxing break. We would not hesitate to return. Only a couple of suggestions to make the stay even better. There was a faint smell of drains in the bathroom which built up if the door was closed. The wooden frame round the bed had corners which could catch your legs when walking round it due to the close proximity of the wardrobe. More room could be provided by possibly moving the furniture around . Neither issue would prevent us from returning.

Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.
