If you want an authentic Alsatian vacation on the Route de Vin, this is your place. The house is located in a small village but close to everything you need and all of the old villages that you want to visit. The house is antique, but has been renovated with every modern appliance that you could need. The hosts were so very gracious to us and not only answered all of our questions , but also supplied us with many suggestions of where to visit, hike, dine etc. We stayed 2 weeks, and were still sad to leave. To our hosts I say “ Merci beaucoup pour tous nos souvenirs.”

Beautiful apartment with the friendliest owners

This lovely renovated barn/apartment is in a very good location for visiting the many beautiful surrounding towns. It is quite new, modern, very clean and has comfortable furniture and beds. A well fitted kitchen with everything you could need. Also secure car parking. Great to have the bakery directly across the road. We can't say enough about the owners Anita and Julien, so friendly and helpful. Our week would not have been half as good had it not been for the detailed information supplied to us for our outings. There is much more to the area than we had realised. Apart from visiting the well known Colmar ( a very short drive), pleasant train journey to Strasbourg many other close lovely historical villages and on a rainy day the Motor museum in Mullhouse was highlight. We enjoyed the walk in the hills to visit the two lakes and the cafe half way down with apple tart and coffee, the cows with the bells in the fields. Last but not least - the food and wine of the Alsace area is fabulous, Anita and Julien also pointed us in the direction of nice wineries and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed an extra week, much more to see and do. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Séjour très agréable proche de Colmar

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour à Herrlisheim. La propriété est impeccable et tout à fait conforme à l’annonce, très bien située pour découvrir l’Alsace. L’accueil de Mme et M. Zimmermann très chaleureux, de bons conseils de visite et dégustation dans les environs.

Petite maison parfaite pour séjour en Alsace

Anita et Julien on tout fait pour que notre séjour soit parfait. La maison a tout ce qu’il faut - même un petit jardin pour profiter du bon temps. Le lieu est parfait pour visiter les petits villages ainsi que la route du vin. Nous reviendront.

Julien is a great host. He was very welcoming and answered all of our questions and asks. The house was a bit smaller than we thought, but it had everything we needed. The WIFI was a bit slow and bulky. We had to reset it from time to time. The location is very convenient. Close to beautiful Colmar and other areas in Alsace. We enjoyed our stay at this property. Très agréable séjour dans une demeure pleine de charme

Très bien située dans un charmant village tout proche de Colmar et de l'accès aux vignobles de cette belle région des Vosges, cette maison est très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Mr et Mme ZIMMERMANN nous ont très bien accueillis et accompagnés tout au long de notre séjour avec un foisonnement de renseignements précis sur les principaux et nombreux attraits de la région. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit allem was man braucht uns kleinem Garten zum mitgeniessen. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern da und es hat alles gut gepasst. In zehn Minuten ist man in Colmar und drum herum gibt es viel zu entdecken. Herr Zimmermann ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Sehr empfehlenswert

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L'accueil est chaleureux, avec de petites intentions sympathiques (une bouteille de vin d'Alsace et du jus de fruits). La maison est agréable et bien équipée. Elle est bien au calme et donne sur la cour et le jardin. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir à disposition une chaise haute et un lit parapluie. Et notre aînée a été ravie de trouver des livres d'histoire. La maison est très bien située pour visiter l'Alsace. Nous avons pu facilement nous rendre à Colmar, Mulhouse, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg... Une très bonne adresse pour visiter la région et se reposer.
