A truly gorgeous location for a complete ‘get away from it all’ A fantastic beach within a fairly short walk downhill and the best place for dog walking. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need and dog friendly as well which is a great bonus. It is a good idea to take the basics as the location has very few grocery stores within easy striking distance and only one local pub.

I stayed here for 2 days on the weekend of 6th September with my two adult daughters and our dog. The cottage was very clean and well equipped for all our needs. We found the beds very comfortable and had two great nights sleep! The location was fantastic with just a short 10 min walk over the fields down to the nearest beach. We all fell in love with this patch of The Gower and really enjoyed our walks along the coastal footpath to Llanmadoc and the beautiful Cwm Ivy cafe. The views really are breathtaking. The host Jan and Simon were very friendly and accommodating. We would all highly recommend staying here and hope to return ourselves in the future.
Lovely cottage providing an authentic Welsh experience. Gorgeous location with views of the sea and a short walk to a quiet remote beach. Brilliant for dogs and children. Hosts were amazing and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will be back. The only thing to be mindful of is the poor reception and spotty wifi so may not be the location if you are remote working, but it’s a perfect location for a family holiday and a digital detox!

This sweet and quirky little cottage is in a most beautiful location with a sea views, a nice walk down to the stunning beach and a pub with good food in the village nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The shower room was lovely and provided excellent showers every morning. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything was very clean and well presented. The only things we were less happy with were that there wasn’t really a comfortable sitting area for 4 adults together for the evenings. And the upstairs bed (though comfortable), is very high off the ground and proved tricky to get off for night time bathroom trips. Overall, we had a comfortable and very enjoyable stay and a lovely welcome from Jan and Si the hosts.
