Welcome to the Dower House the original gatehouse of Parnham Park, one of the oldest and most historic homes in Dorset.
Parnham Park was originally built in 1400’s and completely remodelled in 1552, by architect John Nash, who was renowned for his work on Buckingham Palace. The grounds were landscaped by Inigo Thomas and are Grade ll listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
The Dower House is a beautifully furnished 3-bedroom house set on its own acre of private grounds with a swimming pool overlooking the Parnham deer park. Recently refurbished, the Dower House includes a children’s playroom, excellent Wifi, a private gated entrance & utility room.
The Space:
The Dower House is a beautifully furnished 3/4-bedroom home, with a large private garden and swimming pool.
The House is fitted with great wifi, Sky, and Netflix on both TV's and all the modern conveniences you could need. There is plenty of room to eat together in the beautiful dining space or to relax together in front of the large open fire in the dining room.
Bedrooms feature huge sumptuous beds and high-quality 700-thread count linen. The bathrooms are similarly indulgent with beautiful fixtures and a deep roll-top bath.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has a king-size bed and the third bedroom can be made into two singles or one double. Both double rooms can have an additional single bed added on request.
The children's TV room downstairs can be used as a single bedroom with Z bed on request.
Dogs are very welcome in the downstairs areas of the house and a cleaner is provided for free for an hour on Monday - Thursday during your stay.

A key will be provided for you on arrival and the house has a private, gated, car park.
