About this property
Brecon Beacon Barn, access to canal and central location to mountains
Bullrush Barn is a converted tractor barn, in the middle of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are in a magical location on the edge of the Mon and Brec Canal, which is wonderful for walking, cycling and canoeing. The local pub is a lovely 30 minute walk along the canal from the property.
The accommodation is a modern three bedroom cottage sleeping up to six people. Set in the pretty courtyard of Ty Newydd Farmhouse and faces onto its own private garden with views of the Welsh Countryside. On the ground floor the barn is open plan, with two comfy sofas and an armchair, flat screen TV/DVD player. The kitchen is integrated with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. It has thermostatically controlled under floor heating and down stairs toilet/utility.
The first floor comprises two double bedrooms and a twin. There is a family bathroom and one shower room. The ceiling heights are high with exposed beams throughout. The pretty enclosed garden looks out onto the hills and has sunken patio area, great for morning coffee, alfresco eating and star gazing.
There is parking for 3 cars and bike storage.
