Disliked: Communication
Apartment was lovely and apart from no curtains in the bedroom on the internal window was like the pictures on the listing. Management company and Vrbo communication was APPALLING. I still have a complaint out and not heard back from Vrbo. I think they have closed it without tell me. Again.
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE CASH FOR THE DEPOSIT. I was marched around to an atm to take it out and the rep asked me to hand it over like some kind of drug deal. Gave me no receipt for it.
THE KEY DIDN'T WORK. The main key to the building didn't work properly. I had to ask to be let in by a resident and only once in the whole week I was there did it work on the first go. I had a screenshot of how to say I'm locked outin case I need to buzz again. In trying to get the management company to help they suggested I asked a resident to help me but I was a woman on her own I didn't feel safe to do so. They finally agreed to video call me when I tried to show them the door. They asked me to show them from the outside, I was nervous because I knew there was a chance I'd be locked out. The door was a heavy wooden door and as I tried to show the lock and close the door with out closing it I slipped off the front step and BADLY twisted my ankle. I had to sit on the step as I was in so much pain. The person on the phone kept asking for me to show him the lock. After I said I needed a second because I had hurt myself did he ask if I was ok.
I showed him the lock and after some wiggling I got in. His respons
