Ocean view from every room in the condo

Enjoy our condo in lovely Poipu with vast ocean views from the lanai and Master Bedroom. You will hear the ocean, see the ocean (and the whales in season) and be mesmerized by the ocean and the sea life. Sunset Kahili is the highest condo in the area. Our resort is on the ocean side of Pee Road, the views from every room are non-stop ocean and both ocean and mountain views from the kitchen. Clean tile floors are throughout the entire home with attractive wainscoting and furnishings. Luckily, the complex has an elevator, a nice maintained pool also with an ocean view), bbq area (also with an ocean view!) and you have your own assigned parking space.

Enjoying the sights and sounds from the lanai are blue water dreams come true. This condo is on the west side of the building which gives you access to ocean sunsets. Free wireless internet (works great by the way) is at your disposal. The location on a hill combined with the fifth floor setting not only gives you wonderful views but also allows the cooling trade winds easy access. Central to all of Poipu, this condo will be your leisure home for your entire stay.

Great views and great location!

My partner and I had a lovely stay - great views (we were able to see some whales and watch a gorgeous sunset) and great location (easy walk to Poipu beach, Waimea canyon is an accessible drive away, as well as exploring other local towns). Snorkeling gear and beach towels provided were greatly appreciated!

Beautiful setting and location!

This lovely one bedroom condo on the top floor of the building was ideal for my wife and I. The ocean views are spectacular and the location was absolutely ideal! Although the unit is not air-conditioned, the ocean breezes (and overhead fans) were quite welcome! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our one bedroom suite with the ocean view from our bedroom and the sound of the waves. We slept well on the comfy bed. The patio for coffee and dinners at sunset were the absolute must for us. It didn’t disappoint.

Beautiful condo!! The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal. The view of the ocean and sunsets were amazing. There is a great cross breeze and Denise was super responsive and friendly.

We LOVED this unit and the balcony view!

We had a great experience. The host was helpful, friendly, and easy to communicate with. The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. The views from the balcony and bedroom were amazing! Sleeping to the sound of the ocean made for a highlight of our stay. The balcony furniture was a plus also, and we enjoyed spending time out there each day. The pool was an added bonus, as well as being so close to Poipu restaurants!

Peaceful Paradise

What a wonderful time I had! I was in Kauai for a family wedding. I walked everyday to be at the venue and hang with family. There are several beautiful beaches. The monk seals, sea turtles, and whales were so cool to watch.The ocean view and sleeping to the sound of the crashing waves was amazing!!

Great spot!

The condo is in a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. We loved spending time on the balcony in the mornings. Plenty of relaxing space for the two of us with a great kitchen to cook the few meals that we made onsite. Location is awesome for getting to beaches and other desirable spots by car. It’s walkable to beaches but I wouldn’t recommend carrying chairs etc that far. Great stay, very happy!

Perfect getaway

Great time in Kauai, the condo was as described and within walking distances of the listed beaches. The no AC wasn't a surprise but it was a surprise to us how much we were uncomfortable. A fun feature was being able to see the ocean from the shower if you leave the bathroom door open. The place was well stocked. Everything we needed. Highly recommend looking up the hiking path to the Secret Beach. It's an hour's drive north but really worth it. Also make your reservation in advance for a sunset dinner at the Beach House. We also enjoyed the luau at the Sheraton.

Idyllic Anniversary Trip to Kauai

Kauai is one of our very favorite places on earth. We've visited many times over the last 35 years, but this was our first stay at Sunset Kahili. 507 was an absolute dream and an amazing place to stay to celebrate our 15-year-anniversary and to enjoy the very many things we love about Kauai! Denise and Gary have a gift of a place and have done a lovely job of setting up the condo to be very comfortable and a perfect home away from home. It was very difficult to leave after 9 nights but we most definitely hope to return again someday. Aloha and mahalo nui loa!

Location close to beach

We mostly enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was very clean and decorated nicely. The condo was stocked with enough things to save you some money not having to buy spices and such.There were some things we didn’t particularly care for, one being when we sit on the patio just 10 feet away there are neighbors on their patio, staring at us. So that’s not private enough for what we prefer. I would never stay in Kauai again without having an air conditioner. Even though the Reviews say that the tradewinds cool it off. They certainly don’t cool it off enough. We are from Arizona and love the heat, but this was more than we could handle. Luckily there were several fans so we had them all going. Two of the four days we were there was miserably hot inside. We were expecting to just look out off of our patio and see the ocean instead we saw the parking lot, beyond the parking lot is the ocean, but you can’t see it without looking at the parking lot. We love the location and will return to a condo with a better view and an air conditioner.

Everything was top notch with this condo. Sunset views were fantastic. If I had to say anything negative, it would be there was no air conditioning. We had one night it was a little stuffy in the condo because of a hurricane blowing to the north a ways off, which made the wind shift instead of blowing in and keeping the condo cool, but that is Mother Nature's fault...not the Owner's. It was a pleasure staying there!

Gary is a retired fire fighter and Denise is a retired educator. We enjoy sharing our condo with others and are available to help you plan a vacation of a lifetime in Kauai.

Why they chose this property

We have been going to Kauai since early in our marriage in 1990. We enjoy many parts of the island but Poipu has been our favorite place to visit in Hawaii for the past few years. We love the relaxed and safe feeling when we are there. The people are very friendly whether they are local folks or visiting tourists. We fell in love with our condo on our last visit in Spring of 2017. We hope you will enjoy our home by the sea as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

We really enjoy just walking along the coast and seeing the sea life or scoping out whales and turtles from the lanai with binoculars. We have hiked, biked and snorkeled several places on the island. We have also enjoyed kayaking too. Whatever activity you enjoy or would like to try, I'm sure you can find it on Kauai. But relaxing by the pool or on the beach also makes for pleasant days.
