Expansive Countryside Cottage

This huge cottage set on half an acre of land provides space, quiet and whole lot of character.
Set in the beautiful Cookham countryside and only 15 minutes walk from the delightful banks of the River Thames. We are only 1 mile (5 min drive/ 25 min walk) from Cookham, a beautiful village with some lovely independent shops, country pubs and cafes. In the other direction, you'll find Marlow, only 1.5 miles away, where you'll find a bustling high-street filled with Michelin-star restaurants (Hand & Flower, The Coach for example) pubs, shops and supermarkets.
If you want to get into London, Maidenhead is only 10 mins by car/cab where you can get a 20 minute train into Paddington.

Stylish, huge, very comfortable house

Beautiful house with two very large communal spaces (kitchen and living room) perfect for a large family gathering. Photos don't do it justice. 5 very comfortable bedrooms, 2 with ensuites. The host is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Close to Marlow and surrounded by footpaths Hope we can come back...

We had the pleasure of staying at this expansive countryside cottage for a week. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Perfect for our family of five adults and three children. Expansive is not an exaggeration. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and lots of baths. The kitchen is well equipped and very airy. It’s a short drive or a pleasant walk into the nearest town of Cookham which has two pubs and a good grocery. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and on the trampoline. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
