The experience was nothing short of disappointing. 1) Waiting
for the response from the owner (> 48hrs) for confirmation 2)site misrepresenting booking (Townhouse listed but only
room IN townhouse actually the booking. 3) Owner/manager unable to read my email (only spoke Italian) 4) vrbo didn't have entry code or direct contact 5) Found out 2hrs before arriving to apartment that it had been cancelled by owner because she couldn't read email and neither owner or vrbo contacted me, leaving me stranded in Italy without a place to stay. Tried to call vrbo but phone number was not working ! Still waiting for my reimbursement too! Unfortunately prices may be better on vrbo than other sites but you get what you pay for
