On the upper floor, there is a 24-square-meter porch and two bedrooms, each with a 1.35-meter bed. There is a full bathroom with a shower and a living-dining room featuring a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Spectacular mountain views allow you to enjoy the Castro Valnera peak, after which the cabin is named. It’s located on the south side, so we’re guaranteed sunshine all day long. We’re less than 3 km from the village of Vega de Pas, one of the three “Villas Pasiegas,” alongside San Pedro del Romeral and San Roque de Río Miera. The passage of history has left behind many sites of interest, such as the Yera Station, the Engaña Tunnel, the Cueva del Castillo, and the Cueva de Sopeña, among others. Be sure to try the famous “Sobados” or “Quesadas Pasiegas.”
