Great Place for Busy Explorers

Has everything needed to sustain two people who needed a place to rest and recoup from travel. We slept very deeply as the bedroom has no window. The proximity to Ballycastle’s main street made it easy and fun to pop out to grab whatever your heart desires. Although we didn’t eat in at all while we were there, the apartment has everything needed for a romantic night in as well.

Great space at the centre of Ballycastle

The flat is well equipped for everything you would need for a long stay. We used the kitchen for multiple meals and found it had plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The washer was convenient and we liked the heated drying rack. Every room has a heater on the wall so you would be plenty warm even on the coldest Irish days. The shower has an instant heat device so no worry about running out of hot water. Couches are comfortable and the bed was great. We liked the bedroom being at the back of the flat so it didn't have windows and it was very dark for sleeping. We were able to park behind the building in an extra space so we didn't have to use the public car park. If you are driving, just note that google will take you to the front of the building, but you need to drive to the back carpark area to get in/out of the space. This place is in the center of Ballycastle so you are literally steps from grocery stores, butcher shops and multiple good pubs. Some of the restaurants get busy in the evenings so reservations are a good idea if they offer. Then its a nice walk downhill to the sandy beach and the ferry for Rathlin Island. If you plan to visit, book in advance as they do sell out and you will want to maximize your day.Ballycastle was a great little town and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this flat if you want a comfortable visit.
