Drive 9km south and you will soon be in the bigger port town of Sami where you can visit the amazing Melissani underground lake or head to the stunning Antisamos beach. This beach was made famous as it was used in the film ‘Captain Corelli's Mandolin’. Carry on south and over the highest mountain range in the Ionian and you will soon be in the island capital of Argostoli. The airport is located just 38km away.
