Poetic Indipendent Studio in Old Pasta Factory
The Ex-Pantanella is a unique industrial architecture complex in Rome and is located on the Esquiline. It is the result of the residential recovery of the old pasta and biscuit factory. The studio apartment has an independent entrance onto the shared roof garden where you can breathe a community atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere. You are welcomed by an intimate living room, a kitchenette with all appliances and a bathroom with shower. A comfortable double bed and a sofa bed accommodate a maximum of three people. The apartment has independent heating and air conditioning. The double-glazed windows provide insulation from the local slow speed railway. The urban view is poetic. The residential complex is located a few meters from Piazza di Porta Maggiore, an urban transport hub in all directions. Termini station is just a few minutes away. The Lodi Metro stop is a 10-minute walk away. Same distance to reach two very dynamic areas full of clubs such as San Lorenzo and Pigneto.

Comfortable, quiet apartment
We stayed five nights here in October 2024. Alessandro and his daughter were both very helpful. The location is a bit further away from the main tourist spots, so some people might prefer a more central location. But it was perfect for us, as we like to walk and don’t mind getting to know the bus and metro routes. Also, there are some excellent, non-touristy restaurants in the area. We highly recommend this apartment.
