Morning Face is a meticulously restored Italian villa with privacy and mature gardens. Set on 20 acres, the beautifully landscaped grounds feature woodland gardens, pergola, heated pool (in season) and a formal terrace with fountain. The comfortable grand rooms are tastefully decorated.

Morning Face includes 4 bedroom suites in addition to the library, living room, fireplaced den, additional den with twin daybed, dining room, breakfast room, custom kitchen and upstairs office with twin daybed.

Country Estate Life

Our stay at Morning Face was wonderful. The villa is a spectacular, sprawling historical estate, and one feels transported to an other era of elegance. That said it was completely comfortable at the same time - livable, not precious. Our kids were able to explore, get lost, and we weren't worried about them damaging things (too much ;)). We loved spending time in the large rambling library with the fire going, poking through the impressive collection of books, exploring the property, watching the birds through the kitchen windows. It was heavenly, and I imagine even more impressive in summer when the pool is open! Todd was extremely courteous, helpful, as was the on-property manager, Enrique. Looking forward to our next stay!

Breathtaking

Morning Face is one-of-a-kind in the best possible way with highly deliberate design choices, at once subtle for casual observers and intensely intricate for the more curious among us. The property is a visual feast. If you are interested in memories to last a lifetime, look into this one. The communication with the owner was very good-natured and comfortable. He has a very courteous staff that takes care of the property and are extremely responsive to requests. In one case, it was literally only 5 min from issuing a request to receiving a knock at the front door from a member of the staff looking to help. Only word of caution is to take the "Sleeps 10" description seriously. Notwithstanding the enormous physical dimensions of the house...it is palacial as advertised...it will require some creativity for a guest count exceeding 10. Very short drive to Tanglewood. We also went to Jiminy Mountain Resort...an undiscovered gem during the summer months. It's hard not to wax poetic about this property and its location. 5+-stars.

Fantastic house, used as skiing base

We have stayed with this owner several times and he always creates a wonderful vacation. His property is beautiful and well stocked/prepared. It works very well for our family and gives us a perfect base for skiing several mountains. Will be back next year, and the one after and the one after...

A rare gem

We had a fabulous stay in a wonderfully comfortable mountain retreat overflowing with character. Todd is the consummate host, and Morning Face offered everything that our family could have wished for on our New Year’s Berkshires getaway. I couldn’t imagine a better way to have rung in 2021!

A Picture Perfect Christmas

Todd is to to be commended for curating a quintessential New England experience in the Berkshires. In spite of it's impressive grandeur, the residence is warm and comfortable. It's very easy to settle in and feel at home here. Even laden with snow, the home's grounds were impressive and the house is situated quietly amongst the Berkshire hills. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay in a more perfect home.

Morning Face exceeded our expectations!

Morning face is an architectural jewel nestled in the beautiful Berkshires--turn of the century grace with modern conveniences. It is secluded and serene but only a short drive from world-class museums, entertainment, restaurants and shopping. This elegant estate is also very comfortable, made warm and welcoming by the owner's creative touch. We enjoyed the unique indoor and outdoor living spaces, gorgeous pool and bountiful gardens. Morning Face has a pleasant surprise around every corner. The owner Daniel is most gracious, available but unobtrusive; he is a pleasure to work with. Our family had a most memorable stay there and hope to return.
