Villa Zanata is a lovely four-bedroom three-bathroom villa located in the Los Mojones area in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, only a 15-minute walk from Puerto del Carmen’s Old Town Harbour area. The villa can sleep up 8 guests. Puerto del Carmen is a very popular resort in Lanzarote, originally a fishing village, it has now developed into a buzzing Spanish holiday destination with plenty of beaches, restaurants, shops, and bars for guests to enjoy. The beaches have sun loungers and sun umbrellas for hire, as well as water sports. Taxis and buses are readily available, so car hire isn’t essential. But it could be a good idea for exploring the rest of the island.

The villa itself has air conditioning throughout and is furnished in a comfortable and modern style. The living area is bright and spacious and features all the modern conveniences you would expect from such a high-quality villa, including wifi internet access which is free of charge. The living room is open plan with comfortable sofas and armchairs, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with English and international channels (including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5). There is also a music stereo. Large patio doors open out onto the pool area. The dining area has a table and chairs for 8 people. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped consisting of an island with an electric hob, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and electric oven. There is a washing machine, iron, and ironing board in a separate utility room.

There are four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms both have 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, and air conditioning. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, flat-screen TV with English and international channels, and patio doors that lead out to the pool area and sun terrace. It also has an ensuite bathroom.

There are three bathrooms, all of which have large walk-in rain showers, wash-hand basins, and WCs.

The outside area is well laid out with an L-shaped covered patio area with sun loungers and a patio table and chairs for alfresco dining. The area around the electrically heated pool has Astroturf, which is very easy on the feet and safer for young children than slippery tiles. There is also a hot tub in the corner and an outside shower for cooling off if you don’t want to go for a swim. There is also a pool table for entertainment and a brick-built barbeque. There is security lighting outside, which makes it an enjoyable space to relax in, regardless of the time of day.

The pool is 8m x 4m and has a depth range of 1.2m to 1.75m. The pool is heated from November to the end of April inclusive and has steps.

The villa is laid out all on one level and has wide doors to all rooms. The villa is equipped with a security safe and an alarm.

The villa is cleaned for guests’ arrival. Linen and towels are provided including bath, hand, tea towels, and pool towels. The linen and towels are changed weekly or mid-stay for holidays of 10-13 nights.

For families with infants under the age of 2 years old at the time of travel: one infant can stay in the villa for free.
