About this property
Immersed in the land of the Deux Caps
The Petit Phare gîtes are located at the end of a bucolic lane with a small stream running through it. La Longère du Petit Phare combines charm and history, set in an exceptional natural area owned by the Conservatoire Du Littoral, right in the heart of the Bay of Wissant.
Le Tamaris is on the right-hand side of the Longère. The gîte has its own terrace with furniture and barbecue, access to the garden and two private parking spaces nearby.
This part of the farmhouse has also been decorated in a refined Scandinavian style, using salvaged furniture. The materials used are noble: stone, parquet flooring, pellet stove... The gîte has three bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and has a private bathroom. The interior and exterior fittings are accessible to people with reduced mobility. The bedrooms have three double beds (140 by 190). The Petit Phare farmhouse has an old-world charm and a unique layout. Le Petit Phare offers two gîtes, La Belle de Nuit and Le Tamaris, which are open all year round, summer and winter.
The spirit of La Longère combines sobriety and authenticity, and blends in perfectly with the exceptional privacy offered by the Bay of Wissant. Staying at Le Petit Phare will give you a real holiday experience, as close to nature as possible, and allow you to escape to a unique place, designed just for you! As owner of the Petit Phare site, the Conservatoire du Littoral has undertaken major renovation work to bring the Longère into line with the requirements of the ecological transition. La Longère has been renovated to meet the needs of the gîtes, but above all to respect the soul of this 300-year-old building. Each flat has its own terrace (with furniture, barbecue, etc.), access to the garden and two nearby parking spaces.
Little is known about the origins of the Petit Phare's built heritage. However, the evidence provided by the Cassini maps (1756-1815), combined with the publication of postcards from the end of the 19th century, point to the presence of buildings in the area known as the lighthouse from the end of the 18th century. And in 2023, the Petit Phare gîtes will continue to write the history of this superb site, offering you the chance to enjoy some marvellous moments in a unique setting, as close to nature as possible!
