Snow, Stratton, Magic Mountain which are roughly 40 - 60 minutes away. There are many area colleges including Bennington College, Southern Vermont College and Williams College. In town there is the Bennington Museum which is also the home to Grandma Moses Art Museum. The Robert Frost Museum is only 1 mile from the Guest Barn. The Clark Art Museum in Williamstown, and Mass Moca in North Adams is 30 minutes away. Saratoga Springs is only 40 miles away and Albany is only 50 minutes away where you will find many more museums and places of interest like the "Egg". Robert Todd Lincoln's home in Manchester is 30 minutes away along with many of the Manchester shopping outlets. Check out the Dorset Playhouse, Vermont Country Store, and Bennington Potters while on your trip. If you want to go back in time, visit Williams Store in Dorset for a great nostalgic experience. A trip to Lake George, NY a little over an hour away and worth a ride on the famed steamboat Minnie Ha-Ha. And don't forget to visit Bennington's 3 covered bridges.
