A spotlessly clean very well appointed bungalow. Lovely bathroom and great to have a wood burner. It's located in a very quiet cul de sac which, if I'm honest, let's the property down. Some of the neighbouring properties were a little run down cosmetically. Don't be put off. There were no problems whatsoever during our week's holiday with any neighbours or the on street parking. The property is very well located for walking down into town (there is a short length of hill to climb to return) and a medium sized Tesco is only 5 minutes walk through the housing estate. Similarly, to the rear of the property, further up the hill, in there is a lovely wood within 5 minutes walk if you're a dog owner as we are. On that point, the garden is very secure. The bungalow has been very nicely refurbished and has everything you might need other than perhaps a few more pans and utensils if you enjoy cooking. The internet signal was a bit patchy on occasions. Nice TV with several streaming channels. We had a small problem with the shower on the first day, and the host couldn't have been more helpful. Overall a lovely property and ideal for a restful break or as a base for exploring Galloway.
