Welcome to Canterbury! This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath home is ready for your arrival in world-renowned PGA West. Located at the Palmer Private, this turn-key furnished home will be the perfect backdrop to your vacation in the Palm Springs area.

Tucked right against the Santa Rosa mountains, you're as close as it gets, and the views don't disappoint. There is a lawn for the little ones to run around, in both the back and the front. With a private pool and spa, you'll never be far from a quick dip or a leisurely float in this heated, salt-water pool. Use the BBQ to grill up dinner, after a fun day on the golf course. 

Indoors the home has every comfort available. Large great room with flat screen TV, comfy seating for 7, and fireplace for those chilly nights, with more beautiful mountain views! Formal dining table has seating for 8, plus three more barstools at the kitchen counter. There is a wet bar for your own personal happy hour, and the kitchen is fully stocked with place settings, small appliances, and barware. 

The master bath has a King size bed, flat screen TV, front walk access, and en suite bathroom. The bathroom has dual vanities, a soaking tub, and separate tiled shower. The second suite is the casita, which has access from inside the home and the front walk. The bedroom has a King bed, flat screen TV, mini fridge, reach-in closet, and en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, sink and toilet. The third suite features a Queen bed, flat screen TV, reach-in closet and ceiling fan. Full bathroom in hallway with shower, toilet, and sink can be used by the guests in Suite 3.  

Additional amenities include high speed wifi, linens plus pool towels, washer and dryer, and telephone with local long distance available. 

This home is just over three miles away from the Empire Polo fields for the festival season. Guests have quick access to championship golf at PGA West, Trilogy, Silver Rock, Mountain View, and numerous public/private courses within a 10-15 minute drive of the home. La Quinta offers visitors a variety of outdoor adventures in all seasons. It is also a perfect place to enjoy the Humana PGA golf tournament, the BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament and the La Quinta Arts Festival. Shopping and dining in Old Town La Quinta is a must. The famous El Paseo drive located in Palm Desert is only 20 minutes away.

Perfect vacation property

We loved everything about this property for our family of 4 adults. The house was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. The outdoor area was as beautiful as the photos showed, hugging the gorgeous mountains with an amazing pool and spa. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect get away

We were running late due to insane traffic from LA but the property manager let us know how to have a seamless check in. Great location, accurately described and quiet and peaceful. Was the perfect location for our events and we enjoyed the pool and scenery. If anything, the pictures in the add don’t do the pool justice, as it was clean and aqua blue. Will definitely stay again- thanks again for allowing us to use your accommodations!

Wonderful property and host

Beautiful home and property with plenty of room for six in 3 bedrooms. Les, the property manager, was terrific. When the internet went out due to a break in the cable company’s fiber optic cable before it reached the house Les worked with the owner to have a new company install a new system - all within 48 hours! We highly recommend.

Beautiful home, clean as a whistle with an incredibly well-stocked larder. Host met us at the house and showed us around; he was available and responsive to the few questions we had. Walking in the neighborhood was very pleasant and the house is a few minutes from shopping and restaurants. One of the best features of the house was that when in the master bedroom we couldn’t hear the other couple, even when they were in the kitchen. We can’t wait to come back.

Great location for playing the PGA West courses. Nicer great room and kitchen area than the pictures suggest. Fully stocked with lots of kitchen tools. Spa is a great ad for pre-or post golf. Third bedroom is pretty tight and definitely could use a refresh of the linens, but otherwise a good comfortable spot.

We stayed for the New Years holiday weekend and driving up to house... WOW! It would be hard to get any closer to the beautiful mountains that are right in the backyard. Beautiful relaxing scenery. The home is very well taken care of, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The pool is amazing and the property managers are very responsive and attentive. Being a VRBO owner myself, I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the desert.

Perfect location!

My husband and I spent a week here and had a wonderful stay. The house is very well-appointed, the patio and pool are the most tranquil oasis, and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The location is perfect for anything you might want to do. It’s about an hour to hiking in the Indian Canyons, Tahquitz Canyon, to go to Palm Springs for the day or dinner, and Joshua Tree National Park. The owner is very responsive and helpful and his property manager was excellent. He met us at the house to show us how things worked and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We would love to return some time!!

Lovely Babymoon!

If I could give 4.75 stars on cleanliness I would. We requested & received an early check-in (12:45PM instead of 3PM) so I am sure we cut into the cleaning time (my only hangup on cleanliness was the floors - everything else was spotless). The view was incredible, the pool and spa were wonderful, bed was SO comfortable, kitchen stocked with all gadgets & spices we could possibly need for the week, very quiet neighborhood great for walking which we appreciated. Les was very responsive with the few questions we had during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for a weekend getaway

First off let me say the house was beautiful and super clean. Management was excellent. The house was well stocked with paper goods, pots/pans, spices, etc. We honestly did not even need to leave the house the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend to family/friends and would book in the future!

Quiet, Serene and Clean

My family with three young kids enjoyed our experience here greatly. Property was sparkling clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking equipment, spices, even oil, etc that you need to do all the same cooking you would at home. Friendly helpful management. Friendly neighbor who actually told us he enjoyed hearing my kids playing in the pool. We look forward to returning.
